Default The comic book and other ramblings

I beg a thousand pardons if this has already been discussed to death, but a couple thoughts (and a hello!) from a new member. I watched the second episode again last night so my wife could catch up, and noticed a few new things (to me, anyway)...

- did you notice that the comic book was called 9th Wonders? There's six of them so far, but is this implying that there are nine 'good guys?'

- as Hiro is flipping through the comic, the last page on the left when he looks at the artist info on the back cover shows a card driving toward or away from Vegas. I didn't get a chance to go back and freeze frame it yet, but it looked like Nikki's car.

- since the artist's comic now seems to be telling us something of the future...is the big blue guy we saw on the cover of same said comic Sylar? He's blue, and somebody froze the guy in the house solid...another villain? That's another one I have to go back and freeze frame tonight if I get time.

- what about the funky S symbol that we're obviously supposed to be picking up on? When I watched it again, I saw it in another location that I hadn't noticed before...on the first viewing, I saw it (obviously) in the artist's (Mendez - need to start remembering their names!) loft when Hiro entered, and it was in the swimming pool at the house where the bodies were. Also, it was formed in the gaps in the data that Suresh found on the memory stick. On a second viewing I also saw it in an odd place - in the drawing that the younger Petrelli brother (Peter) is doing, it's the first thing he's drawn, in the upper right corner, before doing the little flying stick figures. Any other sightings? Did anyone notice it in the first episode?

I believe that is a reference to the "8 wonders of the world" and they heroes being the 9th wonders. I could be wrong.

Hmmm - that's a very interesting theory on the 8 wonders. Is the comic book the kid was reading (and was on the computer screen at Hiro's work) 9th Wonders? I was pretty sure it was, but haven't gone back to episode one to check yet...if so, I'm willing to put my neck on the line and say a) that we'll see the blue guy at some point; b) he won't be Sylar and c) he is the guy that froze the poor man at the house.

the comic in ep 1 WAS 9th wonders. but the blue guy looked more like a godzilla sized monster if memory serves (which it usally doesn't)
if i ever get the cahnce i am still planning on checking out ep1 for teh s symbol.

S for sylar? i can totally see Sylar not just being some one, but a entire project. that would fit into my expermint theory.
