SOME THOUGHTS

hi everyone, it's my first time to make a post on a fan forum.

sorry about my english as i am not a native speaker, but i do want to share some thoughts about the show here.

NIKKI'S SON
there is one charactor who has great potential and will be a main force to fight the evil, but we have overlooked him. He is nikki's son.

as each super power is a certain form of genetic variation, the potential power runs down in family. claire's bio parents might have power, so does nathan and peter;s dad. as nikki is a hero, her son propably will be one too. plus the young boy is already very talented and shows some promise.

NIKKI'S POWER
i am still not too sure about what's nikki's power, but there is one thing i am pretty sure about -- this is not a case of MPD. there are physically TWO NIKKIs, one on each side of the mirror. do you guys remember the detail when nikki woke after the two gangsters were killed? the other nikki in the mirror was covered in blood, but the nikki in bed was clean without any blood. if it is just a case of MPD, the nikki on this side should have blood on her cloth too. it indicates that the other nikki from behind the mirror physically killed the two guys while the "real" nikki stayed out of the crime scene.

PETER's POWER
i thought peter's power was flight, but then i was convinced that his ability is to absorve other heroes' abilities. he was able to fly after nathan flew and after he met issac, he draw a picture that he was floating while talking to his brother. what is intereting is that issac could only paint the future after heavy drug use, as for peter, he was able to draw the future consciously. i think that's pretty intereting.

Yup, Peter's powers is rather hard to pin down. I think you might have it right; he might be like Rogue, absorbing people's powers...

OOOh! so maybe he absorbs tons of powers and BECOMES Sylar and can travel in Time/Space thanks to Hiro and goes back in time to talk to the Professor's Dad who helps him disvoer his powers, but they ultimately turn him to evil.

ORRRR Like father Like son, the dad DIDN'T commit suicide afterall and had the same power as his son, but to get the absorbed powers to last, the "touch" has to come directly from the person's brain!! And the mom knows the truth but is withholding that for the sake of her sons!!

Cool idea, but I'm not sure about it. I can see him getting the flying from his brother, but the drawing thing is a bit of a stretch. What he drew was hardly a work of art and was certainly not a premonition. I think he was just drawing what he remembered.

I definitely think that Peter absorbs powers now. I could be wrong, but I seem to remember Peter being in a hospital setting following the jumping incident when he drew the picture. Since Isaac could only make the pictures after having a late-night bender, Peter could only draw the picture after he had some pain-killers in him, and since they aren't quite as potent as street drugs, the picture wasn't top notch. Just a thought... Makes me believe.

That's an idea, but there's still the fact that what he drew was a memory, not a premonition.
