Did anyone else happen to notice that Nathan was on the phone with a Mr. Linderman or something like that during the pilot when Peter first comes to see him in the campaign headquarters?
I think Linderman was the mobster Niki borrowed the $30G from. I read in one of the plot spoilers (1.04 or 1.05) that Nathan goes out to Las Vegas, presumably to get some financial help from the mob for his campaign. I wonder what will be the price he has to pay for the Kennedy-like boost.
Also, correct me if I am wrong but I think Nathan was saying he was down in the polls by like 8 points or something with just a few weeks to go in the election. Then the headline on the paper for Nov. 7 the Feds show Hiro said "Petrelli wins in landslide." Wierd huh? Mobsters know their political shiz-nit apparently.
I think Nathan could conceivably be one of the heroes that uses his powers for evil if he wasn't careful.
EDIT 1: I just read this..
TVGuide.com: Tim Kring said this is not about quickly forming a "team" per se, but watching the interesting ways in which the characters cross paths. Episode 3 hints that Hiro might be the first one who Niki meets...?
Ali Larter (Niki): Not yet. [Big grin] Somebody else! I have a little "naughty" experience with one of them.
Isn't Nathan supposed to be married? Bastard.
