The paintings, clues and such.

Hey i'm new here, so sorry if this is re-hash. Most of this is obvious, but there are a couple questons.

Ok so we know Isaac paints the future. Most of these are obvious, they aren't cryptic, an explosion is an explosion, etc. But there is one painting we don't know about, so maybe its a clue. When the girl, whose name i forget, enters his apartmant/studio he is covering a painting of what looks like a capsule or test tube or something. We see it for a second, just enough to see it full on. Just wodnering if its a clue and what you all think.

I'm also curious about the files Mohinder looks at in the apartment in new york. anyway, i'll try to get a screen shot of the painting up and maybe some of the files if it looks worth it.

Ok i got some screen shots for reference. but there are two things i saw that i wasn't able to get a screen shot of. One is when Mohinder is looking at the files, before he finds the tape. it is a sketch of a person's profile with something attached to his head. It could be nothing but i'm starting to go with a government expermintation theory, so it might be something. Also in Isaac's apartment we see an capmaign ad for Nathan where we see he was a soldier. Probably nothing, but maybe the reason we see that part of the ad at "random" is because that connects him to the government. i admit these two are stretchs, but still. ok

Those really make me think there is a expermentation thing going on. I mean, it looks like some sort of capsule or something.

Well at the very least someone was being studied. I'm curious if that means he was exposed to radiation for 15 years or what. that is kind obviousl it says that,that seems unlikley though.

3 random thought i had: 1)Maybe nikki isnt' the one with the power, maybe someone is using their power to protect her. 2)If you read the comic you can see Mohinder's cab was ripped apart, i wonder what Claire's "dad"'s power is, maybe super strength? 3) Is claire's "dad" even evil? We are made to think so in obvious ways, maybe its misdirection?

yeah i know i'm looking for consipiracy, that is the fun part of good TV though.

cool post. i just watched the 1st ep again and i was thinking about the painting too. it looked like a lab tube and it looks evil.

i missed the part that Mohinder's cab was ripped apart. i was wondering what happened to his cab after he ran away.

cannot wait to see ep 3.

the cab thing is from the "graphic novel" on the official website, very worth chekcing out. i'm just now watching ep 2 as i write, i'm keeping an eye out, may check it a few times tonight for stuff.

Nice work TDPTL! The first pic looks like some kind of test tube containing something. Should be something to look for down the road. The other pic in the files presumably was stuff that Mo's dad had gathered during his investigations.

I'm pretty sure the knives in the mother that was hung on the wall were also in the mysterious S shape. I haven't got a recording of the 2nd ep but if anyone else does, check it out and let me know if that's right.

If the knives are in that pattern, I think that sorta lends itself toward the telekenesis, cryokenesis...all sorts of kenesis powers that Sylar may or may not have. It would be pretty difficult for an ordinary dude to tack a woman up on the wall and methodically stab knives into her in the shape of an S. Or maybe not and I'm just drastically underestimating the determination of a top notch serial killer.

His cab wasn't ripped apart, it was his father's. In the graphic novel he sees it at the cab company.

Of course, it could have been an actual accident...but...

yeah, actually to me, on further inspection, it looks more lik it was blown apart. who knows?
