This is the bit about Heroes/Zach:

"Heroes" is described as "X-Men" meets "Lost," where a handful of unrelated people have been gifted with super powers. Thomas plays the gawky, artsy childhood friend of popular cheerleader, Claire (Hayden Panettiere of "Remember the Titans"), who finds herself unable to get physically injured. You may recall seeing previews where Dekker's character films Claire jumping off a bridge, snapping her neck and then standing up without a scratch on her.

"The only reason Claire talks to Zach is because he is the only one who knows her secret," said Dekker.

He hints that there may be an underlying love brewing between Claire and Zach, a character that producers allowed Dekker to help develop.

So far, I'm not much of a Zach fan. It just doesn't seem to me that he's right for Claire.

I actually like him quite a bit. He's a sweetheart and let's Claire take total advantage of him. I think she needs a wakeup call. I hate the way she treats him at school. She needs to realize who truly cares and not put so much weight on popular appearances. I am anxious to see her character grow & change throughout the show. I have no doubt that she will soon realize what a good friend he truly is to her.

After what just happened with the pervert of a quarter back... I think she'll find out real soon... exactly who her friends are... and exactly who... she can trust... as far as school buddies go. On the home front... she has a lot of trust and faith in her "father"... and its going to be devastating to her to find out the true intentions of her father... and mother. But atleast she'll have... what's his name again? hehehe!
