There is a thread link HERE on a different forum which discusses the Pilot Music. Let me sum it up as much as possible. Artist and then song name listed:

Wendy and Lisa (Wendy Melvoin and Lisa Coleman) - they were responsible for creating most of the Pilot Score (instrumental) and will continue to provide music score for the rest of the episodes
Rogue Wave - "Eyes" (keeps repeating the phrase "in your eyes")

In older versions of the pilot (screener, 72-minute version at Comic-Con, etc.)

Imogen Heap - "Hide and Seek" (I don't remember hearing it on the one that aired, but I could be wrong)
Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard - "Vespertilio" and "Eptesicus" (borrowed from Batman Begins )
Bright Eyes - "Road to Joy" or "I'm Wide Awake, It's Morning (Road to Joy)"
