I maybe weird, but I always like stories about serial killers. Probably because they tend to be very intelligent and not just slash and grab sort of thing.

Did you ever see "Profiler"? Jack was quite an adversary!
So I guess if the supervillain is a killer that Matt Parkman deals with, then Claire's dad won't be as much of a bad guy as most people initially anticipated?
Claire's adoptive daddy is supposed to have moral quandries with which he has to deal with on a regular basis when he's required to do the things he'll have to do...........FYI: No I have no future episodes/scripts/insider info (YET!!)............this information comes from Tim Kring (I believe) in previous interview........don't remember which one but I also believe it to be the one up at 9thwonders.com!!

A supervillain serial killer? *yawn* Been there, done that.
The real battles that would be fought should metahuman abilites every emerge in reality would be between various governments and their metahuman citizens. Either the government will win and wind up controlling every metahuman they don't kill, or the metahumans will win and become an elite ruling class dominating non-metahumans.

Yeah, I looked through the pictures on there. It showed the telepath and his partner come out of an elevator to see a man frozen on the ground, I am guessing the supervillian can freeze things with his mind...Forgot the actual name of that.. Cyrokinesis or something.
