Good stuff! I just noticed those while making rounds (checking SHH! and iesb, etc.), and was gonna post about it too!

NBC has provided Superhero Hype! with 10 more images from the third episode of Heroes, titled "One Giant Leap". The photos feature Greg Grunberg as Matt Parkman, Adair Tishler as Molly Walker, Clea Duvall as Agent Audrey Hanson, Milo Ventimiglia as Peter Petrelli, Tawny Cypress as Simone Deveaux and Masi Oka as Hiro Nakamura.
Here are two that I liked:

I liked how Hiro was showing that 9th Wonders comic book to people. I don't know why, it just seemed funny to me how it looked like he was showing it off.

The captions almost write themselves. "Look, Look! I'm a comic book Hero!" or "Comics always add 20 pounds to your frame." or "They're watching me. Somebody's been spying on me during private time!" Anyway, those are some great pics!

It's fortunate that the pics are here at this site's gallery and at heroesmedia, because they are no more to be found at the original link that I posted from SHH! Was that the plan all along - to get the pics published, and then have the fansites take over for the hosting?!?

I LOVE all the pics of Matt, especially the one where he's hugging a little girl. After saving the image to my hard drive, I added something to it and created this:

I thought that was such a moving image because it's amazing how a simple hug can make a difference in someone's day.

That is a great pic! I saw it as your sig at 9thW, but hadn't gotten around to commenting on it. I like your sig here too!

How'd you get to be so talented?

For this particular image, I just cropped the photo down a little bit and made it smaller with Adobe Photoshop 7.0. For both my animated avatar and animated signature image, I combined Photoshop with the little freeware program UnFREEz. It took me a lot of practice with both programs to get it almost down to a science, but it seems to have worked out. Because of Photoshop alone, I've made 10 wallpapers, 10 signature images, and at least 15 IM messenger icons. Now that Matt's got some new images, I'll need to update the avatar to give it around 7 images.

I myself highly recommend UnFREEz, that is what I use for animation as well. Unfortunately, I don't have Photoshop, but somehow I have Microsoft Picture It 9.0 on my computer. It basically allows me to do what I need to do.

7 images? Since UnFREEz works with GIF files only, and the maximum file size for avatars is 29 Kb, it will be hard to get all 7 images looped in a single avatar. My work on the animated Heroes, each 100 X 100 pixel picture took up between 7 to 10 Kb. If Photoshop saves GIF files with a better size compression rate, I will be envious. If you wittle the pics down to 90 X 60 pixels (H X W) you might be able to get between 4 - 6 images...

Good pics. Looks like the director of photography/cinematographer is good though I haven't been able to find out who it is. I like the umbrella one too, very chick-friendly.
