Default Anyone see Snakes on a Plane?

This was THE Internet hype movie of the decade. judging by the box office numberse it looks like eveyrone who wanted to see it saw it and no one else gave a crap. Anyone saw it? Was it good (or bad) as advertised?

Never wanted to see it. Sounded dumb and looked dumb. Apparently, I wasn't the only one who thought so. Makes you wonder how much of the Internet hype was created by the movie people themselves.

I enjoyed the hype and will probably enjoy the movie for what it is, but I (along with apparently all of the american public) will wait until it hits DVD to see it. I imagine the DVD features will be awesome...

Yeah I think it'll make a mint on DVD IF Samuel L. Jackson does an audo commentary. That would just rule all kinds of cool.

I watched it the first weekend (I had to sneak in cuz I´m only 16), and I thought it was pretty cool. Very funny in some parts. I thought it definitely lived up to the crazy hype.

I think Samuel L. Jackson is freakin' awesome. However, I have never had any desire whatsoever to see this movie. The name even sounds dumb, and anything that commercialized is bound to suck. I'll watch it when it's out on dvd. I like to give things a chance before totally trashing it. I am not excited in the least about seeing it though.

i heard from some of my friends that it was actually really good. I wanted to see it but never really had time. a Jackson commentary would be hysterical though...you'd probably have to turn your TV down to not blow your speakers cause he'd probably be yelling the whole time, haha

LOVED IT!!!!

However!
I am a b-movie afficionado.

Movies that try so desparately to be serious and yet fail miserably. This also includes low budget pseudo-serious.
Examples:
Evil Dead 1 & 2, Army of Darkness
Lake Placid
Anaconda 1 & 2
Insecticide
Alligator

If ever i was trapped on a desert island i would want McGyver, Ash and Stephen Hawking with me.
Any guy who can CUT OFF HIS OWN ARM with no drugs is okay in my book.
