We seem to agree at IMDB that Peter can't fly. I think he has the power of speed because Peter told his bother that he (Peter) woke up and he's feet were hovering above ground.
I kinda got the idea that they BOTH could fly since you know they are family and probably have the same power gene or something? at least that's what i always thought. anyone else?

I don't get the whole idea that he is fast so he appears to fly. If he jumps off a building and is really fast moving how is that going to keep him from splattering on the ground. The laws of physics still apply. If I push a dragster off a building it will be destroyed even though it can go from 0 to 300 mph in less than 4 seconds.
I think it's possible he has super speed, since it appeared that he was caught by his brother instead of flying with him. I think another possibility is that he'll serve as some kind of a "helper," or "booster" character. Somebody that heightens the others' powers in some way. Thoughts?
Regardless, I'm really excited to see where this show goes!

Or am I missing something?
I agree, the laws of physics cannot be totally abandoned here, but in terms of this, I think we're talking a speed well beyond that of a dragster. I mean, the flash circles the earth in seconds, right?
They left it open to interpretation purposefully, it gives them more options in the writing and lets the fans come up with our own theories about it. As for me, I think they both can fly, and maybe peter just hasn't gotten all of his powers under control yet; or at the very least he has a power of some kind.
Here’s a wild speculation. What if Peter’s (the nurse/dreamer) powers are something like Rogue from X-Men or Parasite from the Superman comics? What if by being around some super-powered individuals he is able gather their powers for his own means? I mean, Peter falls, right? If his feet could hover for just a split second, maybe recent contact with his brother gives him a power boost which will allow him to levitate just before becoming street pizza? Since his brother (Nathan/politician) is the only one Peter’s had direct contact with, and Isaac (the painter/heroine addict) he’s had secondary contact with (Before he started dreaming – at the end of “Genesis” they meet), these are the 2 powers that Peter has manifested. Peter dreams of the future and has "feet levitation" for a split second. He did have a connection with Nathan over 300 miles away, but in the X-Men movies Rogue talks about “feeling” the guy she kissed inside of her. Okay, I’m done rambling.
