The Identity of The Bomb in the Season Finale Revealed? (POTENTIAL SPOILER)
By Sam | May 16, 2007 (1:00 pm) | More: Heroes Episode Spoilers
TVGuide’s Michael Ausiello has posted what I consider not to be a spoiler at all concerning the origins, if you will, of THE BOMB that will go “boom” in New York City in the season finale of Heroes. Then again, while I may not think this is a spoiler of any kind, others might not agree, so I won’t print what Ausiello says here, so you’ll just have to click on the link below to read the rest of this post and see what the TV Guide guy said. Ready? Continue, if you so chooses…
Says Ausiello in his daily column:
“The bomb” is a series regular, male and was in the pilot.
If true, this would seem to exclude Sylar as being the bomb, since as I recall, he WASN’T in the pilot. Or was he?

It could be Sylar-as-Nathan. Nathan was in the pilot. Ausiello could be tricky.
Sylar’s not a series regular
Tim Kring has been saying all season that Hiro is named that for a reason which refers to Hiroshima. This show has so many twists that anything is possible.
Sylar wasn’t visible in the pilot, but it’s very possible he was initially and just got editted out. Ausiello would have that sort of ridiculous information. Plus, I think Mohinder saw his name on some of his dad’s notes and a tape, so define in the pilot.
Sylar wasn’t physically in the pilot - but you do hear his voice on Mohinder’s answering machine. Or was that episode 2?
hiro….hiroshima…..hmmm……..interesting!!!!
or mayby Hiro is like hero, and he does something that only a hero would do.
I trust Ausiello. He’s usually spot-on with his spoilers.
Im fairly certain Sylar did not appear in the pilot. I don’t even think we heard his name until episode 2
well hiro and hiroshima…. that reminds me of dead about nuclear explosion ok… hiro from hero too and as he has being doing all this season is trying to be a hero… well i think that he will take the one that its exploding to somewhere far so he cannot kill any1, thats something that only a hero would do, sacrifice his own life to save lots more, and he is the only one (well i guess petter can but dont think he will do it) that can bend the time and the SPACE to do it
i think the bomb will be Syler. The incident will come when Hiro Nakamura stab Syler’s chest with his sword, then Syler going to be under no control of himself and the worst part will come, New York will goes….’booom’
I think Peter will be The Bomb… He will face Sylar and kill him… Sylar will wound Peter to where he begins to lose control and Claire will need to intervene to shoot or kill Peter to prevent him from exploding… Hence “Save the cheerleader, save the world”…
