In case you missed it, here is the first 2 minutes (actually, around 90 seconds) of Season 2, “Generations”, aka the last 90 seconds of Season 1, “Genesis”.

By the looks of it, the lone warrior has the same helmet as the the statue in the museum that hiro steals the (fake ) sword so maybe hiro is the warrior that hiro spoke of? He said legend had it that the sword gave the warrior magical powers???
Sam on 23 May 2007:
My theory: The real Kensei dies quickly and Hiro assumes his place, and because he uses his powers while assuming the identity, the legend grows that “Kensei’s sword gives him magical powers”. How will Hiro assume Kensei’s identity? Kensei has never been seen without his mask, thus Hiro can easily slip in. What do you think? That’s just my little theory, though.
Janus on 23 May 2007:
the samurai is Hiro’s father…..i’m almost sure of it
XAL on 23 May 2007:
Yeah, I agree Janus.
Kaito Nakamura is definitely Takezo Kensei.
I guess his power is immortality then…
When Kaito said that “I’ve waited a long time for a Nakamura to rise … I did not believe you could have the power” etc. It seems like Hiro might tell his pop when and where to have a kid, but over those hundreds of years Kaito might have forgotten what his son looked like.
And the long disappointment in his son was probably because the Hiro he met was more grown up than pre-sword training Hiro.
Just my two cents.

Maybe Kaito is immortal or maybe he doesn’t age… at least like normal people would… that would explain it… I guess…
Right now I just want to know which is Mama Petrelli’s power… and who is the “big meanie who sees us when we think about him”

Stiffmeister on 27 May 2007:
What happened now to Peter & Nathan after they explode in space? Are they coming back in Season 2?
prodigy on 1 June 2007:
i did not like final…
because peter can fly but he did not…
and he can heal…
fly,expload,heal
italian watcher on 4 June 2007:
yes i thought the same…..and also if he couldn’t fly because out of control, the brother could just shoot him instead of the girl…….but there are some stupid things in the series, like when peter fight with Saylar the first time……YOU ARE INVISIBLE MAN!!!! WHY GIVE YOUR BACK TO THE ENEMY……really stupid…..anyway the series is really well made.
Bye
Zel on 5 June 2007:
Peter was concentrating so hard on keeping the radioactivity under control that he couldn’t do anything else. Why do you think he would have tried to fly if he was about to explode? That could have set him off even more quickly.
As for his survival… Ted never seemed to have a problem surviving when he lost control (Claire’s house in Odessa comes to mind) so Peter probably wouldn’t have been harmed by it either (everyone ELSE would have died which is what he was obviously worried about).
Had he been shot he still may have exploded. They spoke of killing him as the end all of the whole thing but his body was pulsing with radiation that was about to blow. If he was shot it could have been released with a very similar effect.
dmnky ice on 9 June 2007:
ok here is what i think:
Hiro’s dad is kensei, but i don’t think his power is immortality. The show said that his power was really destructive and he gained control of his power when he got the sword, not that he got the power when he got the sword. i dont think immortality is very destructive. i think his power is a lot like hiro’s, except more specific. like he can control localized portions of time. like stopping time around one person while everyone else keeps moving. so i think his power is destructive because before he could control it, random people around him would just like age into dust. and then once he can control it, he could basically stop time around himself so that he would never age. i also think that hes gonna teach hiro how to do this.
