I think Nathan turns into Sylar, and Peter gets so mad that he goes gaboom.

It makes perfect sense. Obviously Peter WILL still explode, but as Nathan approaches Peter, he will obviously grab him and fly away - similar to the very beginning of the season when Nathan had saved Peter. I’m guessing after they fly away, there will be a huge explosion, New York City will still be saved, but the fate of both Peter and Nathan will be a mystery till the beginning of next season.

Was i the only one who saw in a previous preview, that when peter was about to explode, clair ran up to him to say something. When she turned to run away she had a NEW power, she ran SUPPPPPER fast. now was that just ffw or does she get a new power. and that whole thing about linderman curing him, Linderman cant heal the dead, so obviousley nathan would die and be no more, in an attempt to save NYC.

And what happened to Jessica????????

it could be that hiro stops time and moves Peter the bomb to a different time or place.

even if peter blows up, isnt he still able to reform, we really havent seen the full extent of claires power and what limits it can go to

Ok well i think that when the preview came with all the heroes in NYC i think it was trying to show that maybe Peter was losing control. Now though we know he has control of his power so he could not explode. On the other hand though Ted could end up going to the city and when ever peter get exposed to the power at first he doesnt have control so Kabloom??? o well the point is that nathan will not fly peter somewhere safe and risk his own life.

Nathan’s gonna fly and bring peter up in the sky, and there, kaboom! So, no casualties..

At NBCs site, Tim Kring says that in season two there will be a hole new story and new heroes. Kring also says that heroes, in plural, will die. When chapter one closes its over and a new one will begin. A different one. So I guess that at least sylar dies so the chapter about sylar is over. Who else I don’t even want to think about. And when it comes to the bomb and peter… In episode 20 he said that he exploded… but all he got was a scar in the face. Think…If you die from a glass piece in your head, like he did in the episode before, you won’t survive an explosion! He can’t pull himself together when he’s body is literally all over New York! Talk about puzzle…

A little while back, there was a post on this site stating that there’s going to be a new female character and Tim’s probably keeping most of the cast for season two. Some of them are bound to die, but here’s a quote from Kring…

“I thought Heroes was going to have an ever-shifting cast,” he says, “but the cast hit in such big ways that now the challenge is to figure out how to use them all and still fold in a couple of new people, because I still think that the origin stories are the most fascinating, in some ways.”

I believe that either Nathan will fly up Peter like most of you said, or it’s not even Peter that explodes. There ARE two other canidates for explosions (Sylar and Ted), so who is to say at this point that it is definitely Peter? Oh well, I’m getting anxious to see the finale.

Nathan will be dead by then because it says for chapter 22’s plot, that nathan will prepare to face sylar. Nathan will lose and it will be sylar disgised as nathan coming up to peter.

actually Kenshi it doesn’t say that Nathan is preparing to face Sylar. It says that Hiro is preparing to face Sylar and he get some much needed advice from his father.

“As he prepares to face Sylar to the death, Hiro learns of his linage from his father. “

i think peter runs to Nathan who is actually Sylar and then Sylar takes Peters powers from him.Lets face it Syler is the only person who can control other heroes powers.So the season will end with Syler still in control

I was looking at the landslide preview, and I noticed Micah by the window with his hands in the air after he talked to Linderman talks to him. Also so, Linderman’s plan is to save the world. . . when he talks to Micah, he asks him if he is ready to save the world?. . . .

IDK maybe we are all missing something here that we never even thought about.

I was thinking that Micah’s power and Ted’s power are very similar now- Micah controls electronics, aka electrical power, and Ted, as we have seen lately, controls many different kinds of power- nuclear/radioactive, electric, heat… Hiro definately stops time when the bomb happens, so we only see the ‘heroes’ moving… Since we saw future Sylar as Nathan, he must kill that girl who’s keeping Micah captive, right? Perhaps, Sylar transforms into Peter in order to get the rest of the heroes to aide him…

think micah is required to ‘rig’ the election results as polls still show nathan laggin behind. clueless as to who blows up where, but dont think Sylar has ability to change shape and form yet as the lady who does that is still alive…or is she the next to go?! Brilliant show this; have not been so hooked on a series ever! Can’t wait for the season finale and am cluelss on how they are gonna top this season with a Season 2!

This may happen,
1. Hiro gets his sword fixed from his father who has a power to fix. Also he learns the swordsmanship from his father and how to deliver a fatal blow in order to kill syler, since hiro thinks that sylar does not die from his sword.
2. Sylar kills the woman who can change form and absorbs her power.
3. Nathan dies trying to save peter, and sylar takes over as nathan.
4. Micah is being used to rig the election by linderman, who offers money as a solution their family problems.
5. Peter gets the scar from hiro’s sword.
