Tarantino Snubs Heroes, Ali Larter in Cosmo, Milo Sells iBook

By Sam | September 13, 2007 (1:12 pm)

Former videostore clerk turned hack movie director Quentin Tarantino has apparently been turning down offers to direct episodes of Heroes, saying about the show, “They were trying to get me to do one. I haven’t even seen the f**king show.” Niiice. You can always count on Tarantino for class, can’t you? And anyways, who would want him to direct Heroes? I don’t want to see Peter and Nathan eating hamburgers and talking about Superman’s cape. (via)

Elsewhere, Ali Larter is this month’s Cosmo’s cover girl. There is an interview with Ali you can read here. Nothing about the show per se, mostly about her, the actress.

And finally, before he was Peter Petrelli on Heroes, Milo Ventimiglia was a commercial actor. Here’s an old commercial he did for Apple’s iBook. (via)

Hey, that’s not cool. I happen to like some Tarantino films, and what’s wrong with him turning it down because he hasn’t seen the show? (And personally, seeing Peter and Nathan eat burgers and talk about Superman’s cape would be insanely cute, not to mention ironic.) Smooth, guys. Really smooth.

Quentin is still grousing over his flop of Death Proof. Planet Terror, RR’s contribution to Grindhouse, would have been worth seeing all on its own.

Although I would probably enjoy a Tarentino episode, I think Robert Rodriguez and Tim Burton would make excellent episodes.

So Tarantino says he doesn’t want to direct an episode of Heroes and suddenly he’s “snubbing” the show? Uh, no. Why would he want to direct an episode of the show if he hasn’t even seen a single episode? He watches CSI and directed an episode of CSI, for crying out loud. He’s just plain not a fan of Heroes.

I don’t think the problem is him turning it down, just that he could say it in a more respectful way than “I haven’t even seen the f**king show.”
