Comments on: Sylar, Peter, and Nathan Back for Season 2, But Not DL?

all of you saying that Nathan should die, are pathetic, i know each nd every one of you would love to see a petrelli duo battle against lost brother sylar. Oh my god, that would be so awesome.

I know everyone probably thinks that hiro is angela petrelli’s third child but i strongly believe that sylar is for these three reasons.

1. in the season 3 trailers, there is a clip that show angela petrelli coming out with sylar right behind hand on shoulder. Couldn’t this mean that she finally accepted her long lost son. It is so weird that neither the petrelli’s father or sylar’s father hasn’t been shown yet, don’t you all think so.

2.In ‘The Hard Part’, Sylar felt no regret after killing his mother, maybe he knew it wasn’t his actual birth mother, so he felt no sympathy for her.

3. This reason is kind of cheesy but its legendary in comics for the most baddest villain of the series to fight againt the most powerful hero. In this case, it will be sylar and peter. It would be kind of ironic if Sylar is actually a petrelli boy after he played as peter’s brother (nathan) in five years gone.

Sylar is the thrd child.

episode 12 is the most i awaited because the episode is thrilling, if natahan will die or not after shot by unknown guy, but if you ask me who shot, 2 character is on my mind, either, candice father or could be his mother after all, because i think, nathan’s mother is the master of all masters….. ohhh gosh, i can’t wait the episode 12 when i have got to think th last part of the episode is so much thrilled and exciting….and another is the virus if peter really catched the virus and what had really happen to adam monroe….. But of course, what i truly wait is i can’t miss even single day, the face of cute, hot, and handsome peter petrilli…… marry me peter…hehehehehehe

i thin claire shud of just shot peter and he wouldve died and then there would be no explosion but then he would of cum back coz he can absorb claires power,if they did that nathan wudnt of had to die (if he has) and also that bit at the end with hiro was really random lolx

Again the saving world thing with the exact same charectristics I dont really agree on that, and man dont turn peter to a bad guy come on !

Sylar never blacked out in his eyes he never died, don’t you get it, he dont see the future, he create it, so did isaac and he made him self in the future aka he wouldnt die, dadam he is alive again:p

I think Peter’s story is better with Nathan too. I don’t understand all the hatin’ on the character Nathan anyway. There’s a ton of possibilities that can happen if Adrian stays on the show-killing him to me at this point, after losing other characters that didn’t necessarily have to go would feel pointless and a cop-out. Regardless of how “real” Tim says he wants it to be, it really is still just fantasy. We should allow it to be so…

I’m a little confused. It seems that a lot of people seem to miss a lot of obvious things. For one, the whole Nathan being dead thing… forget it. It’s not going to happen. I’m beginning to understand just how MISunderstood Nathan is. Let’s start at the beginning. Nathan is not a villain. Nathan is weak in spirit. Peter is the strong one. This is evidenced by many examples. We’ll go back a little further. Has anyone noticed how the heroes powers all seem to be some sort of physical manifestation of their personal characters? Peter is sympathetic and in his case literally empathetic to those around him. Physical manifestation..he draws his powers from others. Sylar repairs time pieces because he has an innate understanding of cause and effect. He’s studious. Physical manifestation is that he literally has to dissect and study those around him to get their powers. D.J. who has a history of incarceration and seperation can walk through walls. He’s bound by nothing. Nikki has an actual mental problem and is manifested through a weak and a strong personality. Hiro is confined to an office space where every minute has to be accounted for. His time is not his own. Manifestation…ruling time and space. Matt can’t get ahead because it seems like everyone knows something that he doesn’t. Clair is a small frail girl in a big mean world. This brings us back to Nathan. He is basically trapped in his family’s expectations of him. The golden boy… “Most likely to…” With that kind of pressure on him all the time he deeply desires to be free. Hence his ability to fly. He is also envious of his brother for being able to be a screw up. He gives him a hard time because of it but he still admires Peter just the same. One of the things done very well in this show is the relationship between Nathan and Peter. Nathan really loves Peter and has shown it on many occasions. Out of all of the heroes…he’s the only one who just blatantly ignores his power because it doesn’t fit into his life. It would ruin his image, no matter how amazing it is. But he does have a conscience and if it doesn’t get in the way of his following expectations of him, he acts on it. People forget that he started out by trying to prosecute Linderman. He was going to indict his own father to do the right thing. He tried to bust Linderman by working with the FBI. He was going to kill Linderman until he found himself backed into a corner again. He didn’t care about his campaign when he found out that Peter died. Then he found himself backed into a corner again when he was going to let Peter explode. As a small aside…Claire didn’t save the world by not allowing Sylar to get her power…she saved the world when she appealed to Nathan’s love for his brother and humanity. His desire to be a good person came through because his daughter had determined that he was the kind of person to give up. I don’t believe that Peter is blindly faithful to his brother. I think he just sees the real guy underneath of all of the pretense. At any rate…during the explosion…Nathan just got Peter to a safe height and flew away after dropping Peter or they got to a height and Peter didn’t need to focus on not blowing up…he focused on flying the opposite direction of Nathan. The only real concern that he would logically have is radiation poisoning. That could be part of his arc for the next season. I think Nathan is necessary because he is the voice of reason among the heroes. The fact that he finally not only accepts his power but realizes that he can save the day by using his power is a huge character point for him. It’s not that he decided to be a good guy…he just finally accepted who he was and made a choice of his own. He found that he could actually make a difference on his own. That was HUGE for him. I also think it’s great the way they play Nathan and Hiro off of each other. Hiro is so excited about his powers and Nathan tries to hide his away. That dynamic is always fun for me to watch. Well Gosh…I could go on and on…and on…..and on….but give Nathan a break he is the most conflicted character and acted brilliantly by Adrian Pasdar and I think the show wouldn’t be the same without him.

Why should naithn die? he should die in another way not because he was helping his brother. why would we need more villians isn’t one already hard to kill if we get another one and they become a team, their is no way the others, that is, Peter, Hiro and all the other goody 2 shoes will survive, they took almost 10 episodes to try to kill Sylar. What if the new boogy man is Hiro’s father now that would be interesting. STILL SAY NATHAN SHOULD BE BACK.

C’mon!! You guys want Sylar back but not Nathan?? The guy saved the day, and he probably changed the future by not following Linderman’s instructions. Give Nathan a second chance.

Besides it should be a very original way to twist the all story to make Nathan back, I believe he plays a bigger roles than that, there is a reason why Linderman and the rest of his group choose him to be the one, not just because he can fly.

About Peter…I think we knew he was coming back, right? He’s a show’s fav and probably the center character of the story. And we also know that he can survive just like they showed us in the chapter about the future.

Too many questions…..I can’t wait for season two.

Just one more thing, I would love to know the powers of Linderman’s group.

where the heck is this show going? hiro landing in 15th century japan? where are the writers taking us? haven’t the heroes already saved the world? wasn’t that the whole premise of the show?

as much as i love ‘heroes’, i’m dreading season two. the last four or so episodes of season 1 (as enjoyable as they were) were already showing signs of wear and tear and was a bit holey – like the writers were tired of writing. and the final episode was kinda anti-climactic. despite the big bang in the end, i was expecting a whole lot more action.

we can speculate about who they will bring back from season 1 and who will be added to the cast in season 2 all we want, but where is the story going? is it going to be more about saving the world? are they going to fight crime? what?

adding too many new characters to the script will make it too cumbersome and character development will suffer. in x-men, the comic became so overloaded with mutants, they were no longer special, and the bounds of imagination were stretched to breaking point that it was no longer enjoyable. hopefully that will not happen with ‘heroes’.

but entertainment history does not say that. entertainment history says the makers of this show will try too hard and end up ruining and perfectly good show – and we all know that history is doomed to repeat itself.

PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG TIM KRING!!!!
