Sound Off: What Do You Want to See in Heroes Season 3?

i want to see monica gone. she is not that exciting and didn’t do much. i want niki and nathan to come back. preferably nathan. i want claire to have a bigger role. i want peter and claire to meet as well as matt. i want sylar to capture claire but she does not die and or escapes. more of elle and claire interaction. more twists.peter to be more agressive. more action. can’t think of anything else.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want Nathan to die, but if he did this would be what I wanted to see:

After the loss of his brother and Adam’s betrayal Peter’s slowly turning into the man he was in the alternate future seen in season one. He still has no idea where to find Caitlin. He tries to find out who killed Nathan. He figures out his own mother is involved and once and for all turns into that bad version from season one.

Nikki dies in the fire but Jessica survives. It drives that family apart as well, ending with Micah and Monica running away to become heroes. They’ll join Hiro, Ando, Peter and Matt to stop the virus later on.

Suresh desperately tries to make good for “killing” Noah and finds himself in a downwards spiral that’s quickly leading into being a full member of the company.

Elle joins the good side. She’ll eventually find out that the company / her father has not kept his promise and is still after Claire. She joins forces with the Bennett family.

Now that Sylar has his power back he continues murdering. Eventually he’ll kill Jessica, getting the virus. The virus will start mutating, making the possibility of the future Peter visited a real threat again.

Sylar tries to get a hold of Claire to get her power and survive. While Elle and the Bennet family try to prevent that from happening, the rest of the heroes hear of the virus and join forces to prevent it from spreading.

I want more action …
I am waiting for a biiig fight between sylar and peter since volume one and we never got it
the fight in “five years gone” would have been great but we never saw it … I know king isnt a fan of showdown fights but I know a lot of fans wanna see that .. which means see more action

killing of the benett family so that claire turns evil and stands by her uncles side

nathan not dying
totally not interested in New Orleans story .. lets have jessica back as the new one on bobs side since his daughter turns her back to him
more future hiro scenes telling people what to do
there is a lot more but those are the most importent to me

I agree with most of what theirry says. I think all the new charaters from season2 should stay. I wouldn’t want too see nathan or Niki die, but if it happens it happens. A heroes versus villains war. Enough with the virus, thats done. And i think the show should go back to way it was in season 1, every week there would be a question we wanted answered or a mysterious person or object that we didn’t know about. And then the next week the question would be partially answered and a new question be introduced. I think thats one of the reason the show did so well during season 1. There were other factors, but that was one of them.

There should be villains introduced and the heroes should be seperated, some decide to fight the villains, others go to stop a different catastrophe and only a few are neutral but come around later. Hopefully we will also see some real fighting. It doesn’t have a whole bunch of special fx, maybe some punches and kicks thrown here and there, some fire or telekinesis powers used, and Hiro using his sword against someone with physical powers or healing, no mind powers. That would bring ratings.

I want to see future hiro back ^___^ but longer
i want to see the other heroes interact with him

What we need is a good doomsday plot like in the first season. The virus was stupid and resolved easily… I want to see something we’re warned about ahead of time and then It builds up to coming true; but is then stopped just in time.

I also would like to see more _______ years in the future episodes. Except I want it to be like 5 years gone, where we saw how everyone had changed because of the bomb.

I’m tired of how Sylar survives everything and kills everyone and becomes a god basically. He needs to finally be in over his head somehow and that bs with the virus didn’t count. He still murdered people like it was nothing.

Nathan dead? Not If you’re a time traveler. That’s my resolution to that problem. Peter can easily go back and take the bullets for his brother, and then they can still try to tell the world about what they can do; or they can choose to not do that, whichever.

Jessica/Niki was a much more interesting character that was finally starting to build on me. I wanted to see more of her as she is portrayed in the future comic. I say delete Monica and Micha’s story and find some way to explain Jessica’s survival.

Main points
1. Strong plot with doomsday future
2. Show the doomsday future and how characters have changed.
3. Revive Nathan Petrelli and Jessica/Niki
4. Show Sylar he’s not a god.

I want this season to be dark with comic book endings. No “we will keep bringing back the goodies.” I want the villains to reign supreme with Sylar and the 12 baddies as evil as him.

The main chracters I want to see evolve are Elle, Monica and Clare. Elle’s character is great and Kristen Bell does well to portray her. She can be sweet and lovable and quickly turn. IF Monica’s character doesn’t do SOMETHING this season I will not watch her bits. Its soo broing watching the conversations between her and Micah. I said I want to see Claire Bennet get btter in this season as she did nothing in season 2. The hostage situation bit was alright but that whole “I love West” and the “I’ll show them exactly what I can do was weak.

Finally I want some answers! Season 2 was called Generations but to be quite honoust we learnt nothing about them. Angela is just annoying (watching the preview I want Sylar to kill her) The helix symbol from watching the news reports of Richard Drucker told us the symbol is older and was on a temple of a sect. Possible some people who were or worshipped people with abilities. Will the show tell us about it?

A few hypotheses:

The virus plot isn’t done. There are still people out there who carry various strains of the virus. The storyline isn’t finished. In fact, it still has enormous potential: Shanti Virus? Meet Maya. Suppose Maya’s ability and the virus are sympathetic. If Maya contracts the virus and it happens to mutate… It could potentially be even more deadly and virulent than the strain that Peter zapped in the Company’s safe.

This, by the way, keeps the possibility for rescuing Caitlin from the future open.

Which brings up another point: The Company’s safe. What was it filled with? Superhero/Supervillain memorabilia. I think that Volume III should be just as much about the previous generations of Villains as it should be about the rise of the new supervillains. Only with a whole bunch more information than Volume II had, on both the Heroes and the Villains.

The New Supervillains. All I have to say is this: MORE SYLAR. Because Oh. My. God. Sylar is Flower-ing Awesome. The entire point is that he thinks he’s a God. He wouldn’t be such a bad-donkey villain if he -didn’t-.

I’d love to see Adam come back somehow, because his psychology is just as fascinating as Sylar’s. And some new villains would be cool, too. It’d be fun to see the interplay between villains. For example: A new guy, who kills specials indiscriminately because they’re “freaks” meets Sylar, who’s pissed because the new guy is killing off his food supply.

Nathan comes back. They can’t kill Nathan. Nikki doesn’t. Neither does Jessica. Nor does the third personality, or any other new ones.

Monica, whose role in Volume II was a bit distracting, was, nevertheless, important: She has become the first hero to wear a costume. She’s become St. Joan. Now, remember: on the cover of the comic, St. Joan was carrying a knife with a wavy blade. We haven’t seen that, yet. Monica, I think, will play a large role in the formation of Heroes’ version of the Superfriends/JLA/et cetera.

Claude returns.

Mohinder stops looking up whenever someone tells him that “GULLIBLE” is written on the ceiling.

The Haitian (my friend and I refer to him as “Degauss”) should discover new applications for his abilities, and play a more major role. I think that, just as Matt deals with the software of the brain, the Haitian/Degauss deals with the hardware.

Less high school drama. Seriously. It’s, like, totally uncool.

More Elle. How is she related to Claire? More interplay between her and HRG.

On that note, more hot blondes in general. And redheads.

And now that I’ve degenerated into commenting on the casting I’d like to see, I think it’s time for me to stop. Since now I’m just rambling. Ramble.

From the clips of “Villains”, Heroes next Volume looks cool and much darker.

I just hope Nathan does return, the show needs the Petrelli brothers.

And some more action! With all the cool powers, we still haven’t seen a really cool battle between Heroes.

I want to see Claude back and I want Bob’s comment to be wrong (if I heard him right).

I’d also like to see Nathan survive and I want to know exactly what Mama Petrelli’s power is!

More Angela. Elder backstory. That is all. Nathan isn’t dead so I won’t ask for him back, it’s a given.

Actual character development this season would be a nice chance.

I want to see Claude back and I want Bob’s comment to be wrong (if I heard him right).

Bob said “The clock is ticking,” not “Claude is dead.” Paul’s not dead either.

I do not like that Peter may be going to the “dark side”, please have him see reality and be a good guy. Mrs. Patrelle can be bad, she kinda is anyway - But what is her power???

I really liked the first season when everyone was trying to go good and help other people. Claire needs a bigger role again, she is a great character and we need to see more of her.

Get rid of the brother and sister, yes, he is dead… I hope he stays that way.

Sylar is getting old as well. It is good to have a “bad guy” but he just isn’t that interesting any more… his greed for more powers is getting boring - expand his character of get rid of him.

Nikki was fun while she was multiple people, but now that she is “integrated” she is useless. What is her real power anyway?

While bringing in new characters is a great way to expand the show, you bring in too many and the old favs get lost. Bad idea!

the last episode showed that the shanti virus peter destroyed had been absorbed by his body, i wonder if it has a side effect..

stop sylar from getting more power, but i love if in the end, there will be peter vs sylar like the one in the first season (i think the episode :”five years gone”).. these rival things is extremely cool..

I wonder how adam monroe going to get out from the coffin, but i got some feeling that his role isn’t yet over..

Total war from all kinds of people with special powers and in the end they all die! haha

Here is what I would like to see:

- A bigger role for the Haitian, one of my favorite characters

- snappier dialogue for Kristen Bell, last season was a waste of her considerable talent

- no more fake accents, those were the worst fake Cork accents I have ever heard. They couldn’t find a few talented Irish actors?

- give Claire something fun to do. I liked her with Peter. I would like to see more of that.

- keep the pace quick and the story more mysterious and more surprising.

- let Micah do the voice-overs and give Mohinder a rest

- show us some more of the goodies (or baddies) in the company vault. Why didn’t they look at anything else while they were in there??

- have Maya team up with Claire and wreak some havoc

Tim has already stated that there are two parts to season 2. When they come back he will finish off season 2. He’s not going to just start season 3 because of months lost due to a strike. That would make season 2 a 2 dvd box set. NBC wouldn’t allow it on top of that. Also the plots would be messed up and no one would even understand what was/is going on.

When things like this come into play time has no effect on the show. It’s not like it’s going to come back halfway in season 3 or even call the rest of season 2, season 3. That would be stupid.

Really and truly heroes is great the way it is…
no need for more action or anything, it is stomach clenching enough already. From super powers that are discovered by seemingly ordinary people, to the tense relationships that develop between them as they explore these powers, heroes is one of the best television episodes, which pulls you into the lives of the characters themselves until you cry and laugh along with them. From the complex, sensitive and caring character of Peter Petrelli who absorbs the abilities of others, to the the fun loving, excitable time traveler Hiro, who finds out he is able to break the time space continuum…Heroes characters touch our hearts with a single word, and have us jumping up into the air screaming “flying man!” or crying our eyes out in confusion…it is not only incredible but also believable, mixing reality with out childhood dreams. The only thing I would enjoy seeing in Episode three is that Peter is able to find Caitlin, and really just that the persons who write the scripts continue to do the good work they have done so far. I have realized that there are tiny clues hidden all along in the previous episodes which help us guess what may happen and how it is to occur… this is obviously very clever of the writers, and I admire the skill they have portrayed in ensuring all the threads of the heroes tapestry find each other and form the very colorful and intriguing series which draws in all of its fans and holds a special place in their hearts. I already anticipate the sorrow and loss we will all feel when the final episode of heroes is aired. We will probably say goodbye with tears in our eyes…All there is really left to say is that an important reason why heroes has been such a success is because of the very talented and motivated actors who make it what it is…keep up the sensational work

i like the idea of future syler comes to help present syler,and tells him what needs to be done in order to gain control in the future.that will be realy cool.also from where did syler get his powers from?and who or what brings those cockroches everytime syler is locked somewhere its like theres someone else that helps him.the question is who or what?
if syler will be in season 3 more then it means it will be a cool season 3.

okay, why do a lot of people dislike mohinder now? yes, he made a mistake, but how was he sopposed to know? personally, i like him. also, maya should have died. she id really annoying. most of the new characters were good but like i said some should have stayed dead or should have died. adam should somehow escape. i like the fact that the show will be darker but i still want the good guys to overcome the villains. don’t get me wrong, i like the whole villlains vs. heroes plot but still. peter should totally stay good. yes, in the future episode he was bad. but that was because of the BOMBand how it CHANGED and AFFECTED everyone. the west/claire saga gas got to go. she needs to be like she was in season 1, more vital to the show.

also, i forgot, i like sylar and all , but u have to stop with the whole killing thing. i mean how many powers can one guy get. or at least expand his character.

Okay. There are quite a few things that I would like to see in season 3. I thought that in this season, the new characters, and the old, their powers were not used as much as I hope. As I like all the special effects such as Elle’s electricity jolts.

I was really annoyed at Peter for being so naive so it would be cool if he could mature abit in the next season.

Claire was not really used in the main storyline and it would have been good if she was like if she was involved with the whole Sylar, Mohinder, Nathan, Matt and Angela thing.

I think that the New Orleans plot was too isolated and that it dragged on for too long whereas it could have been resolved quicker.

The Hiro in Japan plot was cool, but once again could be quicker.

I reckon it would be cool in season 3 to finally discover what Angela Petrelli’s powers are (I think that she can see the future as Peter uses this ability in his dreams and also in the hospital in the 1st season).

i want to see more of peter petrelli an his powers but he have to be good always.

On what someone said about givin a Mo a rest with the voice-overs, yeh I definitely agree. Vary the voice-overs a little, jeez, give lil Micah a go at it already.. and while I’m on that note, PLEASEEEEEEE lose the New Orleans arc. its too isolated and few really give a (bleep) about wats goin on over there. Dont mean to lose Micah though.. He;s such an adorable cutie and a young hero or hero of the future(like Molly).. he has potential.. develop his character or something …

peter has unlimited power supply which makes him the storngets but to every hero thers the villan and thats syler to peter the yin to his yang i guess.
while peter has as much power that he wants he cant control all of them,but syler picks his powers very carefully and master them after a short amount of time.

How about Sylar taking West’s flying powers while West defends Claire from Sylar taking her life. That would mean Sylar attacking from above too!

If Nathan does die, that leaves only Peter able to stop him above ground - aerial battle! Peter will have to dig deep and have courage to battle without his brother =P

I wouldnt mind seeing sylar taking hiros power and traveling thru time and making a mess of things with peter hot on his trail trying to stop him, then peter would have to go back and stop him from even taking hiros power, wouldnt totally kill hiro off tho hes really popular and a really big character,or like someone said before he kills hiro in the future and takes his ability and comes back and tells past sylar what to do and when to do it.
now that Sylar has his abilities back he has the radioactive ability of Ted which in his hands can be really dangerous, but i dont think he’ll risk killing off a bunch of “heroes” by using it in a catastorphic way If i was sylar id first go after molly, so i had the ability to find more “heroes” and then id go after clair for the healing power, then id go after peter so that, although im sylar and i like killing i wouldnt nessessarly have to to gain other abilities, then id probably go after hiro so i could go back in time and become the ruler of the world then hed be the most “special” person on the planet which is his ultimate goal.

Nathan shouldnt come back…i like the petrelli Brothers (!Peter!) but i think nathan should die, if he dies Peter will be so angry that he will find the person who did it and give them what they deserve. but Nathan has to leave for Peter to become the hero he is meant to be.

and If Nikki dies then we are stuck with Monica. so i want Nikki or Jessica to come back and get Monica and her ignorant little brother out of the show.

But i love all season 1 and all of season 2…if they dont change anything i will still watch it and i will still love it. although i think these changes will bring in more viewers and make thr show better. but im sure the Writers will give it their all and all of will love season 3.

In this volume, I hope to see more of monica and elle.WE need more feminine power in the show.I want to see more bad villains with cool amazing powers not just sylar having all the fun. I want to see nathan back,he was one my favourites.Bring back DL with claire’s blood, but bring him back as a bad villain.Finally i want to see a big twist in the plot like more of how the company was started and the older folks,Angela’s powers and let peter be a bad guy.

what i maent by the whole sylar getting more powers is that is character is grest but it is kind of annoying after a while to just see him killing people. trust me, i know that he can get unlimited powers.

the whole peter/elle thing in my opinion is not good. yes, they would make a good looking couple. but seeing him with a company operative even if she is turning good is too freaky.

I don’t care what is in Series 3 - finish Series 2 first! How unprofessional to just stop halfway through, and possible cancel Heroes:Origins as well!

I want to see a whole bunch of Villains team up with one great big plan. And the Heroes have to work together to stop it. I would say multiple people working from different angles.

I also like the idea of having a “mystery” to solve each week. Give the heroes a few pieces of information and let them build the case themselves.

It would be nice to see less focus on the normal-ness of the Heroes and more about using their powers to help people. We get the “ordinary people, extraordinary powers” thing. But we don’t want to be beat to death with their everyday lives.

just to say that on the last episode it starts season three if you pay attention so there is not going to be a continuation of heroes s02,

why cant the tv companys give in its their fault cause they dont pay the writers anything at all, its also mainly because of the internet, a while back there was a contract or something made which doesn’t include stuff that happens on the internet, the contract is outlived and the writers aren’t paid enough for the audience they now contact.

although i would really like to see that niki isnt really dead…

What i want is keeping up the good story.
Thats basically all i wanted to say.

Ordinary people doing extraordinary things, like the impossible. Nathan was killed, so what? someone will heal him, maybe Claire gives some blood(I personally liked Nathans death, I’d like to see what Peter will be like after that).

I’d like to see the Haitian wipe out all memories of Caitlin from Peter’s head. She’s so annoying.

Monica, Maya and Caitlin are all annoying (fake accents and all) - I want them dead

I want Peter and Hiro to start turning into what we saw in season 1’s future episode

I want people to stop resurrecting and a lot less happy endings.

My main concern is Nathan, I want him alive. I could stand it if he were absent for all of Volume 3 to play up on his injuries, a coma or something, then have his return be something big for Volume 4, but if he’s legitimately dead it kills a lot of enthusiasm I had for the show, unfortunately. And time-travel special appearances won’t cut it for me either.

Beyond that, I want a pacing to the volume which is appropriate for its length. If its designed to be 11 episodes or whatever, take that into account and don’t get the season going as if you’re doing another full-season arc and have all the time in the world to establish things.

Nathan needs to live. They should bring him back. He is the one character who knows almost all of the names in the Company’s office. The show would not be the same for me without Nathan. The Petrelli’s are a corner piece for the show. And I like seeing their interaction. The show would not be the same for me without Nathan.

Claire need to interact more with her bio family. The Bennett clan on the run holds no interest for me. Claire needs to be in the thick of things which is when she is with the Petrellis.

The pace needs to be good, I agree. Nobody thought season 2 would be over in 11 episodes. The show should have had its normal 22. So, we’ll live with whatever for now. When the writer’s strike is over then we’ll get something better.

NO MORE SUBTITLES. And if I have to concede this one, then only Japanese with Hiro and Ando. I get the idea of showing that people have abilities everywhere in the world but it is incredibly distracting to the action to have to read everything and then look at what the characters are doing. ENGLISH please. ENGLISH.

Get to the main plot in the beginning. If you are going to use some newbies and there should be some. Then have them help with the main plot. The main cast is there for the main plot (whatever world saving event that is) … don’t waste our time with subplots that go nowhere.

The audience likes the cast that is there. A few newbies here or there is fine, but we really want the cast of characters that is already on the show. And we them alive to carry the plot.

I might add more but for now, that is the off the top of my head stuff.

One of the things about Claire that we loved in season one was that she was a teenager trying to hide her abilitys most of the season. i guess we all expected something to happen at season two. Not like she was going to fight crime, but put being a normal teenager away and take a new path. I guess thats why we really didn’t except the whole high school romance, maybe if they met halfway season one, maybe. But it didn’t work that well. It was nice that she got a breather and had a relationship, but i guess the fans thought that this season she would be more like the other heroes and do what ever they were doing.

I dont like to compare shows to other shows, but heroes when it comes to main characters should be more like Lost. Lost has a bunch of people but they have always had a handful of main characters we could follow. A few of the main character have already been killed; for example: DL, Isaac, and now Niki and nathan might be next. Exception: Isaac, i can understand why they killed him, it helped the story. But everyone else wasn’t wise, they were all great characters. and few characters still alive a treading on thin ice. The only ones who might never die are Peter, Hiro, Claire( if they get her to be part of mainplot like the rest) and unfortunately Sylar who in the beginning was a secondary character.

For me…err… I want more role for Monica. Come on….St Joan hasn’t made more action. It would be so great.
And I want Alejandro back for a revange.

I like the imagination of certain people, but I don’t hear anybody say they want Simone back: I want Simone back! She’s hot: Peter should go back in time and rescue her!

Does anyone read anyone else’s comments? Alot of us are saying the same thing. Main important things are:

Revive Nathan
Boot Monica

Keep Peter good and bring back Claude
Have a big battle with Peter and Sylar

Seems people want Issac back but that just isn’t going to happen, even tho we have 2 time travelers.

I was upset every time they killed a cool character: DL(was just starting to be liked by me), Candice(went down ez for someone who can make you tear your eyes out), Linderman(cool actor and interesting too). Instead they kill cool characters like Nathan.

Peter with Claire would be interesting, maybe have Claude team up with someone else or with Peter and Claire. The Haitian is with the company and Mr Bennet again so he will be tagging and bagging people.

I want Nathan back. I want Claire to stop being pointless and go back to being cool like she was in season 1. I want the main characters to actually interact with each other occasionally. No Peter and Nathan scenes together for nearly an entire season? That was horrible. Ugh.

Volume 3 needs:

-Monica :quickly tie Monica to one of the bigger characters or get rid of her. I like her character and all but New Orleans storyline sucks. Micah needs to be written out.

-Nathan :If you do bring Nathan back wait until the end of Volume 3 or bring him back in a future season. It will add a great deal of suspense and be an interesting mystery to follow.

-Niki/Jessica :
Do not bring Niki back please. If you do bring someone back Jessica would be an interesting plot device.

Matt:
One of my favorite characters. Tie him to the main plot with Peter please!!!

Other stuff: I think you should stop talking about the company. I want Sylar vs. the Heroes this season.

Make Monica a villain! I think that would really spice up the story. Little miss goody turns bad out of desire to ‘make things better’? Somewhat like Adam. Make her hatred for death and destruction cause the same thing. bwahahahaha!

Some say the show isn’t built for romance, but I’d like to continue seeing sparks between West and Claire. Tragedy happens everywhere. Atleast I hope not for them. And please don’t make West a character with evil intentions. It’s nice seeing someone with a lyrical soul.

I don’t really like the Caitlin character, but I don’t want the actress to loose her job… perhaps change her role in the story. I don’t care if se ever gets rescued. Make Peter get over Caitlin and give her an important role in the future. Unless she gains powers or develop an immunity to the virus, her character’s significance in the story seems so little. Might do bad the actress career…

Kristen Bell’s such a likable personality. Don’t write her off!

i want nikki and nathen back.

i.e molly, micha, ando, claire, nikki, hiro, ell, boob, anglea(and the rest or the company)
all to fight syler in a big season fianle.

i want to see West come back,i liked him as a character….oh and i cnt wait to see claude come back!

Please….dont bring back dead people……. And dump this Company thing and lets move in to something new …. May be heroes are batteling against some real threat ….. And also please dont make their abilities public … Also wanna see more Clair and West

Adam, more adam.

I want a rival Company. It’s a cool story arc to have a split in the Company, but there needs to be another one out there that is even more secret. These characters are not gods, but what really makes it interesting is if we see real divine intervention/fate stepping in from time to time.

Also, there has been a lot of set up with equal powers on both the good and evil side; Matt and his dad; Peter and Sylar; Clair and Adam. We need more of Claire and Adam. Clair can live forever, how does that play out? Who is the opposite to Hiro? Who is the baddie time traveler? The future-Sylar would be interesting.

As for killing people off…BE CAREFUL HOW IT’S USED!!!! If you do it too much no one believes you any more. The killing has lost it’s sting if they just keep coming back. DL (maybe Alejandro too) is great example because now his death can really mean something to Micah (Maya). HRG should have only come back much later (the end of the season, perhaps.) I know season 2 was cut short, but please don’t make the same mistakes in season 3.

There can be a big doomsday plot for each season, but the whole series needs to lead up to showdowns between the good and the evil; Peter and Sylar; Matt and his dad; Claire and Adam; Hiro and ???.

The writers strike has saved season 2 because they lost their way (a virus is a boring doomsday.) Even if they wanted a virus to kill off the world at least let the hero’s take some time to discover that it really is a virus. I do like the hero’s losing their power though, that was fun.
