Saturn Award Winner Masi Oka Talks Season 1 Finale (POTENTIAL SPOILERS)

Masi Oka is one busy dude. He’s everywhere, on every talk show, and at every awards show. And why not? How often does a geeky nerd (both onscreen and off!) get this kind of fanboy attention? Let’s all take a moment to live vicariously through him, shall we? Okay. Done? Masi recently talked with Sci Fi Wire, and this is what he had to say about the season finale. I don’t think there are any spoilers here, but just to be sure, you shouldn’t read on if you absolutely, positively don’t want to know ANYTHING about the finale. But again, I don’t think there are any spoilers here, but still, it’s up to you. Ready? Let’s go…

About the season finale and Season 2:

“I think it’s great the way the finale ends… It’s a wrapping up of volume one, which is [called] ‘Genesis.’ And it wraps up the whole bomb storyline. So it’s a nice finale, and there’s a great cliffhanger with everybody, I would say. And you do get to see a little bit of volume two, which is called ‘Generations.’”

He adds, about that bomb that everyone is curious about:

“But it’s going to be fantastic. The finale’s going to be the bomb. Literally and metaphorically.”

Oh, Masi, you coy dog you.

And oh yeah, Masi Oka was recently at the Saturn Awards, where he won Best Supporting Actor in a Television Series. (Which is kind of lame if you ask me; Masi Oka IS Heroes. Best Supporting? He should have been nominated and won for BEST ACTOR.)

“Yatta! Geeks rule!”
