Robert Knepper is Heroes Season 4’s Villain
Maybe it’s the face, or the scary eyes, but Robert Knepper sure is making a nice living in Hollywood playing the bad guy. He was the bad guy in FOX’s Prison Break for four seasons (he also played the bad guy in the movies “Hitman” and “Transporter 3″) and now he’s set to play the bad guy again on Heroes for at least six episodes in the upcoming Season 4. Originally described as a “Carnival Barker”-type (here), Knepper will be playing a “Jim Jones”-type who will be making his way through the lives of our heroes.
The Hollywood Reporter article announcing Knepper’s casting doesn’t say if Knepper’s character, Samuel will be the head of the new mysterious organization (first mentioned here) that will be battling the new Company of Angela and HRG, though it’s possible. But the description given to him is certainly delicious sounding:
…charismatic but evil, with a twisted sense of humor…
For anyone who has seen Knepper’s role as T-Bag on Prison Break, that description fits the actor to a T. You never really knew if T-Bag was evil, and sometimes he could be positively nice, but then again, they didn’t call him T-Bag for nothing…
