Ali Larter in Resident Evil, Milo Ventimiglia Eyes Nightwing

Ali Larter: Niki Sanders’ alter ego talks about her role in the new horror movie Resident Evil: Extinction with Joblo.com. The guys at Joblo really dropped the ball and didn’t even get in any questions about Heroes. I mean, it was a real long interview, and they didn’t even sneak in one Heroes question! Lame. I’m so ashame of you guys over at Joblo.com. Tsk tsk.

Milo Ventimiglia: Not content to play a superhero on the small screen, Milo Ventimiglia wants to play one on the big screen too — specifically, Milo has been talking about wanting to pick up the mantle of Robin (or, more specifically, Nightwing) in the current Batman franchise, currently in its second installment post-reboot. In an interview with MTV, Milo says about the dream role:
“They’ve never done it right,” he added, explaining why Robin has always seemed so dorky in the past. Asked how he’d change the Robin story, Ventimiglia offered up a single word that speaks chapters to comic fans: “Nightwing.”

Why downgrade your character role from having those absorbed powers you can use at will(assuming you have control over them), to a nasty ‘Robin Hood - Men in tights’ like role with the ability to cartwheel and somersault in the air.
Yeah sure, the ladies might like the idea, but dude… be a man and take what you have been given and not trade it in for a flop.
