Preview: Chapter 23, How to Stop an Exploding Man

Peter versus Sylar, Niki versus Jessica, Hiro versus Peter and Sylar, and is that Peter versus Nathan? How exactly do you stop an exploding man? Maybe with a flying man? You’ll find out on May 21st, when Heroes wraps up its highly successful first season with a 65-minute finale. (Earlier there were rumors that the finale would be 2-hours, but this seems to not be the case anymore.) DL alive, Linderman will be back as well in the next season. Final face off, Nathan, Peter, Sylar, and Hiro. Sylar will be killed, but someone will take his place in the aftermath. The world will be saved, but only for a short time, this is only one small step in a chain of events that is leading to something global. Linderman was planning to heal the world.

How about this: Sylar kills Nathan (following the future episode) who is ultimately killed by Hiro (comic book screen) and Peter is killed by the Cheerleader (isn’t that Peter collapsing to the ground in the preview?) to prevent him from exploding which for some reason he can’t control because of his confrontation with Sylar (maybe aborbing Ted’s ability twice since Sylar now has it, is too much for him to control).
Just a thought. I hope Parkman dies, his character is too wimpy.

In the earlier episode, Future Peter got the scar on his face, that would be caused by some incident in the last episode (perhaps to stop him from being a bomb?).
I dont think Sylar will cause the bomb. I assume that Peter will cause the bomb according to his dreams, but the bomb might be stopped by any character in the series with the help of some other heroes (not to kill him but just to stop him), and it’s now just a perfect time for Hiro to kill Mr. Devil Sylar without Cliare power this time.
Just a guess, I think Nathan will change his mind and play an important role on this last episode. Dont know what he’s going to do, but I think he’s going to take a big step to do something.

Its obviouse looking at these pics of claire, HRG, Niki, etc they are all looking in the sky so thats where the bomb is. Its Nathan flying peter to a safe altitude.

Peter can fly, he can heal, he can explode…I think for sure its him exploding and I also think Nathan will figure out a way to help keep him alive and If Hiro doesn’t kill Skylar, maybe the cheerleader will because he doesn’t have her powers…

I think the exploding man will be peter. Hopefully by the time he is about to explode he kills sylar with the help of hiro.

if (good)heroes team up against sylar, claire would be ideal to kill
him ’cause she’s the one who doesn’t have “a killing power” + first sylar tried to kill her and in the end claire kills him, that would be fine:).

peter goes nuklear, hiro kills sylar, then slices peter in the face with the intent to stop him. the injury pulls him back in control of the nuke ability

That definitely has to be Candice and Nikki/Jessica fighting. Jessica can’t leave Nikki’s body, can she? Plus, she has a completely different outfit. Too realistic even for this show? I think so…
I believe Nathan will fly Peter up before he explodes, because everybody is looking up there.
I highly doubt they are going to kill off D.L., Linderman, or Sylar. D.L. is shown in the pictures, and Sylar and Linderman are the two main villains.

If Nathan Flies Peter to a “safe Altitude”… then he explodes, how does Nathan Survive the bomb…
What if, There is a secondary device planted by Linderman’s mysterious group of co-conspiritors as an “insurence policy” or back-up plan just in case sylar and peter don’t explode… Then “the bomb will go off” either way.
