Official Description for Heroes S03E03 “One of Us, One of Them”, and Micah’s Fate

NBC has released the official description for the third episode of Heroes’ third season, the intriguingly titled, “One of Us, One of Them”, which features a lot of the new villains that have been promised, including Knox and Jesse in action. But that’s just one of many subplots in the episode, which promises plenty of action. Also, what is the status of young Noah Gray-Cabey, who plays the machine-talking Micah Sanders on the show? As always, do not read on if you wish to avoid POTENTIAL SPOILERS.
From NBC, here’s the description for the third episode:
WHEN FOUR VILLAINS LAY SIEGE TO A BANK, ANGELA (CRISTINE ROSE) SENDS H.R.G. (JACK COLEMAN) AND HER DANGEROUS, NEW WALKING WEAPON IN AFTER THEM
When four ruthless, powerful Villains — “Knox” (guest star Jaime Hector), Flint (guest star Blake Shields), The German (guest star Ken Lally) and Jesse (guest star Francis Capra) — bust into a bank and take hostages, Angela (Cristine Rose) sends H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) and his shocking, new empowered partner in after them. Determined to derail a cataclysmic future, Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) must first find what he lost along the way. Meanwhile, Hiro (Masi Oka) and Ando (James Kyson Lee) track Daphne (guest star Brea Grant) and part of “the formula” to Germany, but run afoul of The Haitian (guest star Jimmy Jean-Louis). Horrified by her ability, Tracy Strauss (Ali Larter) leaves Washington, D.C. to search for answers about Niki. A distraught Claire (Hayden Panettiere) asks Meredith (guest star Jessalyn Gilsig) to teach her how to fight. As his romance with Maya (Dania Ramirez) intensifies, Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) finds himself unprepared when his experiment yields some unexpected results.
Randall Bentley, Ashley Crow, Noah Gray-Cabey, Ronald Guttman and Ntare Mwine guest star.
Angela is now in charge of the Company, and HRG gets a new, “empowered” partner. Hmm, methinks they’re talking about Sylar, via the pic below:
Also, you may have noticed that in the three official descriptions released so far for Season 3 episodes that Noah Gray-Cabey, aka Micah Sanders, has been tagged with the “Guest star” title. That’s because recent spoilers have Micah, along with Monica, as being written off the show. It would appear the writers plan to rid the show of the Sanders clan entirely — with the exception of Niki/Jessica, who may or may not be Tracy, that is.

I’m annoyed but as long as they don’t kill Michah or Monica they can always return later (and even then it’s not stopping Linderman from returning, or even Niki) so hopefully they’ll come back later (they both have too much potential compared with the likes of Maya).

God what is with you people Monica was just another person whining about I am special and I should be someone! She watched Bruce Lee… BRUCE LEE!!! that pretty much makes her a super badass!!! Oh and then what happend? She let some stupid punk thug wanna be catch her and tie her up!!! Bruce Lee would have taken all of them out with or with out guns!!! He would have kicked thier asses and then B!^(% slapped all of them for being so stupid!!! Monica cried and did nothing!!! BOO Monica… BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

No it’s not the final word. Until the two of them are kicked off either can return and I’m glad of that (incidently wasn’t Monica watching Jason Lee playing Bruce Lee in Dragon, not that it matters but still).
You didn’t like the characters that’s up to you, but a lot of people did (just like people are free to like Maya, the frustratingly more irritatingly pointless character).

I agree with sezza monica was a good character, she just wasnt written very well, yes she shouldve kicked the thugs ass but the wirtters needed a way to get niki into that burning building, perhaps they couldve gotten micah to play the part of the trapped, but they used her instead dumb move if you ask me but what do I know

While it could be Sylar, the description did say that HRG will be accompanied by a “shocking” partner, which could be referring to Elle. There have been Behind the Scenes photos of Bennet and Elle together. Then again shocking could refer to Sylar in the sense that it is unexpected.

I fall in the group that is glad Micah and Monica are leaving. I doubt they will be back, think about it: they are offing them because they aren’t popular to the majority of fans. So, why would they bring them back. As far as Maya being useless: yes she is, now anyway. If the strike never happened she would have been very important. And that leaves the Sylar business, he is obviously working with the Company now, which is run by Angela, who is a bitch. Even if Sylar is trying to be a “good guy” now, he is still taking orders from a cold-hearted bitch. I feel that Sylar will betray the company at some point for personal gain, thats just the kind of guy he is. My two cents.

I doubt that Sylar will actually be working for the company. It will be more like a mutually benefficial, temporary, partnership. Think about it, the company will going after the escaped villans and they will need some big guns to pull it off. Why not make a deal with the second most powerful human in the world. I mean, I expect the company’s main goal will be to stop the villans more than trying to catch them and if Sylar didn’t work with the company and found out about the villans some other way he would deffinitly go after them. Together, the company gets someone powerful enough to kill the villans, will do so without hesitation, and will not be missed if he ends up loosing. Sylar on the other hand gets resources he hasn’t had before to track these powerful people down so he can take their power, and he might just get some info on other people with powers that he can visit later on.

I have a feeling your right and alot of people were saying sylar is turning into a good guy because he joined with the company when was the company ever good??? lol makes me wonder how the transition will come about since sylar was captured by the company and noah and him have had words with each other before not to mention sylar went after clair thats going to be a weird partnership, and where does the haitian fit into this wont he be jelous? I’m wondering, as I inferenced from Graphic Novel 92, the German must have been taken into company facility and was put into Level 5? And then he escaped when Sylar accidentally let loose the criminals, and robbed a bank?

It would have been sweet if Micah had been the one captured with Nikki going into the house kicking the bad guys asses and saving Micah thus sacrificing herself. I like Micah and his powers but if he is going they should not kill him in case of him possibly ever coming back. (Future Micah building machines for the future and telling them what to do?) Sounds crazy but cool.

I like Micah as well, too bad his fan base wasnt larger, in any case I hope they bring him back in the future Heroes episodes or seasons as an older kid and badass, repairing machines or creating destructive machines and his mother after years of trying to find herself and searching for her family (or what’s left of them) finds him or they meet each other again at least.
Here’s an idea Heroes writers !! Take note !

monica’s cute…her power could be potentially cool if the company abducted her & gave her the clockwork orange treatment.
maya’s area-kill thing could also be really cool, but i doubt it ever will be…so far she’s just a mind-numbingly gorgeous face, and i’m fine with that….matter fact, they could keep her outta the story & just flash a pic of her once in a while to remind us of how beautiful she is (and that’s not a knock to her acting skills, but they just wrote her in very poorly—darn strike!)…oh yeah, anybody notice how she can suddenly speak perfect english now?? is that some ‘new’ power? lol.
mikah’s cool. he should make transformers by teaming up with a new hero who can bring life to inanimate objects. then they could battle magneto, i mean, the german. matter fact, let’s just combine everything we’ve already seen ever so that the show can’t have an ending & just ends up getting cancelled because everyone loses interest due to an utter lack of originality!

Agreed with getting rid of Monica. Too many characters already. She was just another “copy” type character. I beginning to think there is just a template that all these characters are following, just that each person’s version of it is a little different, sort of how a person’s finger prints are all different. A list of copy type abilities/characters…
1.Sylar - understands how powers work and obtains them
2.Peter - absorbs powers around him and copies them
3.Nikki - her personalities are copies of powers
4.Monica - can copy anything she sees
and those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head. Here’s another list, but of those dealing with mind altering abilities
1.Matt - telepathy/mind control
2.Hiro’s father - see things happening/calculate outcome
3.Angela - precognition
4.Matt’s dad - Same as Matt
List of abilities dealing with flame type powers
1.Claire’s mom - pyro
2.Ted - napalm blast?
3.one of the new villains has fire ability
4.Elle has electricity but can fall into this catagory still since electricity is similar to fire in some ways.
Here’s another list of powers that seem to control surrounding environments
1.There was that guy who could melt things down into a puddle.
2.Bob’s “Midas” ability
3.Telekineses from some dude in season 1, Sylar took his power
4.That new villain that controls metal
Here’s a list of people with regeneration/healing powers
1. Claire - regenaration
2. ADam - regeneration/no aging
3. Linderman - healing?
I could go on, but my point is that there seems to be a pattern here. Like as if there were template powers and these people just happen to fit into them with variations of the same power.

I would love to see more arabic heroes on tv paired off with others from other ethnic background. Sometimes all you see is black or indian men paired off with white women. It seems not to be a problem anywhere else but here in the US…
