New Season 3 Character Joy is a Villain?

We thought we knew who Joy was (a new hero who is actually a hero), but as it turns out, maybe not so much. According to Kristin over at E! Online, Season 3’s new, recurring character Joy may actually be a villain. Or at least, if she’s not a full-blown villain, then she’s a little thief with superspeed, described as “lightning-fast, like the Flash”. Now that’s pretty fast! And what’s her first encounter with another Hero? Unfortunately for her, it’s someone who can cancel out superspeed — Hiro.
Here’s Kristin’s take on Joy over at E! Online:
Look for a new villain named Joy. Her power is superspeed—she’s lightning-fast, like the Flash. Hiro meets her in a museum. He asks her if she has powers and if she is trying to steal some art. She convinces him she’s on the up-and-up…and then makes off with a bunch of paintings. She’s described as a nymph-like character with the speed of a cheetah on, er, speed.
My guess is that Joy won’t become an out-and-out villain, more like a criminal who figured out she has powers, and is using it to live the good life. I.e. she’d probably reform if given the chance, sort of like Elle. And who better to reform her than the truest hero of them all, Hiro?
Then again, she could go Sylar on us, but I don’t see that happening.

omg looks like arthur petrelli is gonna show up!! the ability with the black holes sounds pretty cool aswell!!! 
So, Parkman's dad is gonna be back? SWEET. I hated that they never did anything with that storyline last season... 
oooo it does?! *off to read graphic novel* 
I thought the new character Knox was going to have super speed. I hope there aren’t going to be more copy abilities like Claire/Adam and Nathan/West. If anything though I bet what happened to Molly and Angela is going to happen to Joy (Both Molly and Angela were minor characters in the beginning of season one, then in the end they were important after disappearing for a while).

If we have more powers being repeated, I hope they reveal the reason for it. I don’t mind 2-3 Characters with the same power, but more than that is kinda silly.

i dont understand them (writers)!!!! WHY???
and yeah, its silly to bring two new characters with the same power…
One thing - Knox this way may have another ability…
koz it doesnt look like super speed in that vidio…

well chances are she will be a villian…hence the name of the new season. kinda would be dumb to bring more heros then villians in a season like this. and just two new characters…kinda lame sense they had nothing but time to come up with a new hand full for the season. hope they bring more in. i can see micha’s mom coming back with a new personality and be a villian. micha and his cousin could be kinda the counter part that deals with the new her.

why do they keep telling us the plots of future episodes? Now theres no surprise. Its pretty big to tell us a new character in the first place, so why reveal something even bigger (her side and the way she thinks)?

Super speed does actually suck, as technically Hiro has sorta done it. By slowing down time when he stole the sword in season 1 he was seen to be going super fast by others.
So doesn’t this power get owned by Hiro’s.

Hiro does stop time and that kinda does make Joy look in normal speed but most likely Joy would look fast to everyone but everyone slow to her cancelling out each others powers and unless Hiros sword is sharpened he would get a hand to hand beat down by Joy who might just have some fighting skills being a thief or just plain stronger.
