New Poll: What Did You Think About Simone’s Death?
Simone is dead. Long live Simone! Or at least, she died in Chapter 16, “Unexpected”, but this being a show about people with superpowers (including someone who has died multiple times, and another who can travel through time), is death really such a big deal? But let’s consider for a moment that Tim Kring really means it, that Simone is dead, how do you, the fans, feel about Tawny Cypress’ exit?
For instance, this is what Tawny said to TV Guide recently:
Since mid-December. [Heroes creator/executive producer] Tim Kring called me personally. The second I heard his voice on the phone, I knew. I was really in shock. I went into a cave and didn’t talk to anybody. But after much crying, I’m OK with it. Besides, it’s not over over. In the world of Heroes, anything can happen! I come back in the Mar. 5 episode, and I come back on at least one other occasion after that. So it’s not the end end for me, but it’s the end of what was.
See what I mean? Death doesn’t necessarily mean death in the world of “Heroes”.
