New Hereos Season 2 SPOILERS: Kristen Bell’s Powers, Who is Dead and Who Isn’t?

Yes, that’s right, it’s that time of the week again when Kristin over at E! Online dishes on what Heroes scoop she has discovered. And one of those just happens to be about Kristen Bell’s powers — namely her character Elle. According to Kristen, Elle’s powers are … Wait, don’t read just yet. THERE ARE SPOILERS BELOW so only proceed if you want to know. Ready? Then let’s continue…

According to E!’s Kristin:

All I know is that at the wedding, Kristen and I had a giddy-good time dancing to some silly overplayed wedding song that was some kind of “slide” or something…What kind of slide was it again? Oh yeah, it was “Electric!” If you do it with me now, I might tell you more…Line up, please!

What’s she’s trying to say is that Elle, Kristen Bell’s character, will apparently have electrical powers. Oooh, shocking!

Then just in case you didn’t “get” the hint, here’s Kristin coming right out and saying it:

If you did the “Electric Slide” with me and still don’t get it, I will tell you that Kristen’s power is electricity. I’m also hearing that Kristen might be doing some kind of scene with Masi/Hiro in the past, but honestly, that makes no sense whatsoever to me based on everything else I’ve heard.

Then she gave these clues about who is NOT coming back for Season 2:

* There is a series regular from last season who is no longer a part of the cast and as far as I know is not coming back.
* There is a series regular from last season who is presumed dead, but is not.
* There are two popular and important recurring characters who appear to be totally and completely doomed, and at least one of them will die within the first two episodes.

Again, I think it’s obvious who is or will die — D.L. Hawkins.

I see many people dislike DL, why? He hasnt a cool power or is it becuz hes black? Phasing can kill.

i dont really understand why people hated DL either that just made no sence at all!!

Actually, I really don't think they're talking about D.L. or Matt. We already know that Leonard Roberts, who was a primary cast member in the first season, is NOT part of the cast in Season 2. That must be who the FIRST statement is referring to, because as far as I know, Santiago Cabrera and Tawny Cypress were obviously not eligible for a return given the fact that their characters died a while before last season even ended.

So basically, I'm saying - they're hinting at Leonard Roberts in the first statement.

The second one is obviously referring to Milo Ventimiglia/Peter Petrelli, as we have already gathered from the promos that he's "presumed dead" by his family at the start of the season.

So that leads me to believe that the "recurring characters" are in fact RECURRING characters from the first season, which really wouldn't be accurate if they're referring to Greg Grunberg and Leonard Roberts, who were very much series regulars.

Also, we've already seen Grunberg participating as a major cast member this upcoming season, so he's obviously not one of the two "recurring" characters either.

1. D.L - I'm not sure why, he had an awesome power and I liked his character, but I hear he's not on it next season so I'm saying him for #1.

2. I agree, it's Sylar that is presumed dead but is not. Also I have a feeling Isaac might not be dead. And Nathan Petrelli looked like he was sacrificing his life, but I don't think he's dead either.

3. Totally doomed recurring characters? what constitutes recurring characters, and which of them are left "doomed"? DL and Matt were both shot at the end, so you could call them "doomed" - but i wouldn't call them recurring, I would call them regular. candice, angela petrelli, linderman, molly - those are some recurring characters, but I don't think any of them were left "doomed". So I don't get this one.

Well... DL is dead... we can all pretty much agree on that one. which really sucks cause he was cool....

as for the still-alive person: Peter, Nathan, Sylar all fall under that catagory. though contrary to what colette said, I'd bet my left nut that issac isn't still alive.

and for dead reacurring characters: I dunno.... candace is my best guess... I mean she did take a punch from an angry mom who's strong enough to rip a fat mobster in half... that punch must have been like getting hit by a bus.... I mean the only other person to take a full power hit like that is sylar... he may have walked it off but lets remember he's also the one who was shot and thrown into a fridge with enough force to dent it... and shrugged it off...

I think it's Peter who they presume dead, but is not.
DL is gonna die.
Isn't Jessica (Ali Larters 'alternate' character) already dead? Meaning that it could be Jessica they're meaning who is not returning..

OK people..Theres only one thing thats not on your mind...Simone! She said she worked for linderman remember and then of you watch sneak peeks on season 2 episodes theres a part were simones eyes are closed then the force them selves open and what you can sorta tell she starts breathing really fast. Maybe she was in a morgue and The Company did an autopsy and learned she has a useful power and maybe a new person is a life saver and brings her back??

Well i havent seen season 1 yet but i have seen season too and im ENJOYING IT! its so freakin cool!!!
