Mohinder and Maya Gets Close in Season 3, Future Peter and Claire
The boys over at Spoiler TV has a scan from a recent issue of TV Guide that features a very nice picture of Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) and Maya Herrera (Dania Ramirez) getting close in the upcoming Heroes Season 3. Hey, at least Mohinder isn’t going to cut Maya’s head open for her powers, right? And this new plot development will at least keep Maya from going all crying-girly on us all the time. (Says Ramirez about her character’s upcoming relationship with Mohinder: “I think [the show's mostly male audience] are ready for some sex.”) There is also a new picture of Future Claire and Future Peter clashing, a scene that, pretty much everyone knows will open up the Season 3 premiere episode.

The last picture is certainly Peter disabling Claire’s gun while he has time frozen. Also, Maya is freaking HOT.
Yeah, if there’s going to be sex, and nearly naked people I’m glad it’s Maya and Mohinder…because, to steal a quote from Kristin, “they’re hot as fire”. nice.

ok, question.. how come when they introducethe maya/mohinder love story, everybody is habut when it was the claifre/west romance, nobody liked it. Just To Be Clear: i DID NOT LIKE the claire/west saga and i am perfectly fine with maya/mohinder. but all i’m asking is why this romance is yay and claire/west was nay?

Ace- some relationships just feel forced and rushed. and Claire and West just didn’t have any chemistry on screen.
I also feel the same about Hiro and Yaiko or whatever her name is. Hiro and Charlie on the other hand is a whole different story.

Ok, given that Mohinder and Maya are (of course arguably) two of the hottest individuals on the show, I am QUITE pleased with the hook up. I hate to say it (because love Dania Ramirez outside of Heroes) but since no one really liked her last season, the writers had to get their money’s worth out of Maya. :-/ They initally tried to give her a character that wouldn’t at all rely on her sex appeal but when the fans ain’t feelin it, ya gotta go for what sells. I’m just glad she wasn’t crying or fired so if this is the only alternative, sex it is.
The onscreen chemistry is there. They look great together, and Maya looks hot and sizzles! Did you see the part where he kisses her passionately then rips open her blouse! Wow..yeah
There is no character I have ever hated more than Maya, closely contended by Parkman, personally I was all for Clare and West, I liked both of them, but if Maya doesn’t die in season three, I WILL be pissed!!
Maya just doesn’t add anything to the show, and that’s my biggest problem with her. So she cried black tears, so far it hasn’t lead us to think she will be able to help any part of the plot. If the writers are smart, they’ll use her quick before this turns out to be a Season 2 Peter/Katlin series… or worse… Hiro/Yaeko.
Maya is actually a really good add to the show. Her personality is very well fundamented, giving a diferent foucs to the show. Hse has lots of morals and her power of causing the black death is just like the Maya goddess, and she can be really interesting in the future. Imagine if that is only one of her powers, wha if she , jsut liek the other godess, can put the world in total darkness, and brind endless hope? I love tha idea that she is so hot, and that she can be teh coolest villain of all, better than sylar! Maybe she is not good becasue doent have the agressive personality that americans love, but she sure is in the heat of any other latins or Brazilians like me, that see on ehr an identidy and understand her role in the show.
