Many viewers have voiced their hatred for the pointless characters, Alejandro and Maya.I disagree. I enjoy watching their storyline developed. As you said, this season is all about ordinary people trying to be normal. People need to give these characters time.

True, but it is assumed (perhaps wrongly) that the writer of that spoiler got the American/Alejandro mixed up, as the American HAS no powers, while Alejandro does. Also, it would not make sense for the writer to say “Derek & Maya”, as that would indicate they are a “couple”. More likely, he meant to say, “Alejandro and Maya”. But of course, it’s all guess work. (And I’ve edited the original article to reflect a more “maybe” tone.)
