Milo Ventimiglia Talks Movies, Heroes
It’s good news and bad news for Milo Ventimiglia, who plays Peter Petrelli on Heroes. The bad news is that the recently resolved Writer’s Strike cut Heroes’ second season in half; the good news is that the strike allowed Milo to get himself into three movies — “Game”, “Armored”, and “Chaos Theory”. Recently, SuperheroHype got to talk to Milo on the set of his new movie “Armored”, a heist film, and Milo also talked a bit about Heroes. Yup, not a whole lot here, folks, but there ain’t nothing happenin’ on Heroes land, so this is as good as you’ll liable to get.
Milo talks a lot about his upcoming movies, but the Heroes parts are below. You can read the rest of the article here.
CS/SHH!: When do you go back to your day job? [i.e. Heroes]
Ventimiglia: I think sometime in May.CS/SHH!: Do you have any idea what’s in store for Peter?
Ventimiglia: Yes, I do.CS/SHH!: I know you can’t tell us, but it must be nice to know something, but sometimes you don’t.
Ventimiglia: I think we’ve always had an idea. I know I try to sit down with Tim [Kring] and all the guys who are in charge and understand where they’re going so that I can mentally and physically prepare myself for that. If I’m not prepared then it’s just going to be sh*t work. They’re always wanting to help the actors with whatever we need to get ourselves in the right mind space so that we can perform and do the best job that we can, so yeah, I know a little bit of what Peter has coming.CS/SHH!: Do you think Nathan is really dead this time?
Ventimiglia: I hope not. It’d be really, really bad to lose Adrian [Pasdar]. Regardless of whether or not Nathan’s character has run its course, losing Adrian on that show for me personally would be a tragedy. It would be a different show.CS/SHH!: Do you think your girlfriend will be back? The Irish girl from last season.
Ventimiglia: I don’t know. I’m not sure. I think where the story left off is kind of open to the direction that we are going to go, but I do know where we’re headed is going to be a f***ing ride.
I still can’t help but think it’s pretty funny that Peter just went and left Caitlin stuck in the future. What happens now that they have averted the Shanti Virus disaster? What happens to the timeline that Caitlin was left stuck in? So many questions, and not a single answer until Fall 2008, when Heroes returns for Season 3.
