Masi Oka Talks Season 3, Daphne, and Who Shot Nathan

I can’t believe they named Hiro’s arch nemesis in Season 3 Daphne. Seriously. “Daphne”? That sounds like the name of the little girl who steals your pencil back in elementary school, not the girl who will eventually become the arch nemesis of one of the most powerful characters on your TV show. But hey, whatever floats Tim Kring’s boat. Here’s an interview with Masi Oka via E! Online.
Masi talks about Daphne and the Batman-Joker parallel, but also spills this tidbit: We WILL find out, in the very first episode, who shot Nathan Petrelli at the end of Heroes Season 2. So there you go, no waiting around. I kinda liked that.

Yeah, daphne isn’t a very ‘Scary’ name. Sylars good. Her name should be Steph, Tess, Brynn, or Jess or something like that.

ya well i dont think steph tess brynn or jess are very scary names either. and for the record.. i think its a better choice than Joy which sounds way too cheerful to be a villian.

I kinda liked her being named Joy, because it was so contradictory. It would be funny if she did the same thing that Sylar did; take the alias of an object he worked with. Heroes newest villian: Skechers, the superspeedy theif. Or even Rocketdog, or Reeboks, or Nike. Heh heh heh. But if she took the alias Champion, that wouldn’t be so bad.

right there wit u amy. both interviews were funny,but not that revealing since we basically knew everything. but they can’t say anything if they want to be part of the show. i would wait for spoilers rather than have one of them kicked off the show.:)
