Kristen Bell Goes on Strike

Oh, the Writers Strike. That blasted Writers Strike. And unfortunately I have further bad news, boys and girls, because it doesn’t look like the strike is going to end anytime soon. If anything, all reports point to the studio digging in their heels, and everyone has pretty much accepted that this is going to be one loooooooong strike. Well, the WGA strike moved to the NBC studio earlier today, and the cast and crew of Heroes were out to join the WGA in solidarity. Kristen Bell was there with her own sign. Oh, ain’t she cute?
Here’s what Kristen had to say about her feelings toward the strike:
Obviously we were all very much in support of the strike, so there was a little bit of anxiety when you had to cross the line. But we looked at it like it was written prior to this and we were simply honoring our commitment to what they had already written. And then after that, I think we’ve all stayed pretty strong with the fact that everybody’s now going to be supporting the writers… Because we have no scripts!
Read the rest of the interview with Kristen at IGN. The fella with Kristen is Heroes writer/producer Jeph Loeb, by the way.

Oh my god. No…… You’re on the wrong side! *uses Telekinesis to push Kristen Bell back*
We need Heroes!!
When I said the wrong side I meant anyone who prevents us from more heroes is on the wrong side. The company and the writers are both at fault. Reach a compromise guys… we need heroes.
HEROES! HEROES! HEROES! HEROES! END WRITERS STRIKE! END WRITERS STRIKE! END WRITERS STRIKE! END WRITERS STRIKE!
the fact that actors get paid much more than writers is sickening i hope they get equal pay. if anything a show like heroes should tell you that more rides on the writing of a show than the acting (although heroes has good actors). i hope they strike until they get what they deserve.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! WITHOUT HEROES, THERE’S NOTHING TO LIVE FOR!! MY LIFE IS OVER!! AHHH
IS THAT HER WRITING?? IT’S KINDA MESSY. HEHE. :]
God i hope they sort this out soon. Not a surprise the actors are sidin with the writers tho, lest we see their characters suddenly killed off in the future.
