Kristen Bell Finally Confirmed for Heroes Season 3

Well we all sort of knew she would be back, didn’t we? When a new character proved to be as popular as Kristen Bell’s Elle Bishop was in last year’s truncated season (though to be sure, she seems to have her detractors among Heroes fans), producers are always hesitant to write her off. Such is the case with Bell, who after months of maybe-maybe not, has finally confirmed to People.com that Yes, she will return to the show’s Season 3 in a multi-episode arc. Notice that there was no mention of her returning as a regular (and stay for the whole season), but just in a multi-episode arc.

After the news broke in People.com, E! News was able to reach out to NBC and confirmed Bell’s return to the show.

Kristen Bell is coming back to give Heroes a jolt.

The Gossip Girl narrator will be reprising her role of the electricity-slinging Elle Bishop on the NBC drama’s third season, a network rep confirmed to E! News.

The malcontented character was last seen learning that her Company-leading pop had conducted endless experiments on her when she was a little girl, a revelation that didn’t leave her electromagnetic hands very happy.

“I’m just happy to be electrocuting people again!” the 28-year-old Bell, who will have another multiepisode story arc, told People, which first reported the news.

Again, this shouldn’t be too much of a surprise. The surprise would have been if Kring and company didn’t do everything in their power to bring Bell back, if just to finish up her story arc in the third season.
