Jessalyn Gilsig Moves on to New Series
We haven’t heard much from Claire’s birth mother, the ethically challenged firestarter Meredith Gordon, and as far as I know, Kring hasn’t mentioned if we’ll ever catch up with the Texas waitress again. Meanwhile, the actress who plays Meredith, Jessalyn Gilsig, has moved on to a new series for NBC called “Backyards and Bullets”, which revolves around a suburban Neighborhood Watch group gone awry, reports Reuters.
In the show, Jessalyn will play the wife of the character played by Mathew St. Patrick.
So does this mean chances of seeing Jessalyn back as Meredith in Heroes are not very good? Well, probably not, since both shows are for NBC, and I’m sure a quick guest spot here and there on Heroes won’t keep Jessalyn from her new show. It sure has been a while since we’ve seen Meredith, and her powers are just too cool to just toss away…
