Jessalyn Gilsig Leaves Heroes for The Apostles

(This is old news, but just in case you were wondering where Meredith has been keeping herself like I was, here’s where…) Jessalyn Gilsig, who plays Claire’s firestarter (and morally ambiguous) mom Meredith Gordon on Heroes, will be leaving NBC to join the cast of Fox’s “The Apostles”, a crime show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jessalyn will play an LAPD internal affairs lieutenant, joining previously announced “Apostles” including Leslie Hope, Keith Robinson, Shawn Hatosy and Yara Martinez. So I guess this means Meredith won’t be returning to Heroes for a while. Which is a shame, because a firestarter with a Texas accent is kinda sexy.
