James Kyson Lee Reveals Heroes Season 3 Finale Details, Season 3 DVD News

James Kyson Lee (aka Ando) was at the One World Live event in Hollywood last night when the folks over at E! Online ran into him. Of course they asked him about the remaining three episodes of Heroes Season 3. Lee was more than happy to spill some details about the remaining episodes, especially the season finale. POSSIBLE SPOILERS after the jump.

Lee starts off by mentioning that “all 10 original members from season three will be back” for the season finale. He then adds:

“We will have a little surprise in store for you… Basically, Ando and Hiro’s goal is to take down whoever is behind Building 26 and take down the bad guys, and both of us are going to try to combine our powers and see if we can make it happen.

Also in the last episode, we’re going to give you a little glimpse into Volume 5… I think tentatively we’re calling it Redemption.”

The “glimpse” he mentioned about volume 5 (”Redemption”) is in keeping with what Heroes has done in the past, which is to give viewers the first few minutes from the next volume, so that’s not really a surprise.

Meanwhile, eagle eye reader Tambin spotted the Heroes Season 3 up for pre-sale over at Amazon.com. It’s still very early, and besides Amazon.com not having a release date, it also looks like they’re using a stand-in image for the DVD cover.

If NBC follows the pattern set by the previous two seasons, they’ll release the Season 3 DVD in late August 2009. Until then, this is just Amazon.com trying to get a jump on letting people pre-order the DVD way, WAY ahead of time.

I think Angela is the final death of the season... leading to the need for redemption.

Guys I think it is more than clear that Angela dies, because remember from Season 2, all of the original "specials" were all being whacked! Angela is the last one, everyone else in that infamous photo seems to be pretty dead. Plus, she had this look on her face when she woke up next to Peter in that church, the look was "I'm not going to be around much longer, I need to set things straight before I go." Thus the statement, "First we need to find Nathan & Claire and bring this family back together."

I completely agree. If it isn't her I'd say Noah, because they're bringing you closer to him, making you feel sorry for him as his life unravels. They usually kill someone off at the exact moment you start to like and/or pity them, so I'd definately go with Angela or Noah...

all the orignals were being killed by adam monroe, aka takezo kensei. he's dead now because arthur took his power and he just turned to dust because he was hundreds of years old. now that he's gone, the 12 aren't being killed anymore. i do think angela's the last, but she's not being killed like they were. she may be killed by danko or something

The DVD has been available to pre-order on HMV.com for the past 3 weeks and it has a release date, it says its out 24-8-09 (8/24/09 if your american :P)
