Is Heroes Moving from Mondays to Thursdays?

Media Life Magazine is fielding rumors that NBC may be contemplating moving their hit show Heroes from Monday nights to Thursday nights. If true, Heroes would be replacing NBC’s flagging “E.R.” in its Thursday 9:00 pm. (central time) timeslot. According to Media Life, if this rumor becomes fact, it will be announced next Monday at the network’s upfront schedule presentation to media buyers.
I personally always hate it when networks move shows around unnecessarily in an attempt to “capture” this night or that. It’s so gratuitous. If true, it would also mean that Mondays will no longer be my favorite day of the week. It was always so great to come out of a bad weekend and instantly have Heroes to look forward to. But hey, it’s just a rumor…until Monday. So what do you think about this move? A good idea? Bad idea?
I don't get why they keep going on about 'completing' this formula to 'give people powers', they've obviously succeeded already ...

I thought this was 9 EST and my heart dropped. It could never compete against Grey’s and CSI. At 10 EST, it should do really well though, but then I wouldn’t have anything good to watch on Mondays.

I don’t think it would get the ratings it deserves at 10pm. Lost has lost more than a few viewers (not me) due to their own time change and they’re changing it back next season because of this. Also, the reason ER is on its way out (apart from the fact that it’s a bad show) is that crazy 10 pm timeslot. No one wants to stay up that late on a Thursday, since the next day is FINALLY Friday and they’re already exhausted by the week.

Heroes has to stay on the Monday timeslot! I agree with Garr. People might not watch Heroes that much anymore if they move it on a late time slot on Thursdays. It’s really great to have a nice show on Mondays. It makes me look forward to starting the week. Stop moving you TV shows, NBC!!! It’s annoying.

If it moves to Thursday I think it will suffer. One show I currently watch - Supernatural - is currently in the same timeslot that Heroes might be going to and it’s hurting. No show can go against Grey’s and CSI, and survive. Plus if the CW keeps SN in the current slot, I won’t be watching Heroes.

i totally agree that if there is no Heroes on Monday, what else is there to look forward to… Heroes is the best show ever.
