Hiro’s Yaeko to Return for Season 3

Yes, according to actress Eriko Tamura, who plays the Japanese character Yaeko, Hiro’s love interest from Feudal Japan, and who apparently hasn’t yet learned the TV game of “teasing”, which every Heroes actor has done when asked about Heroes Season 3. Tamura also tells Sci Fi Wire that her character won’t only return for Season 3, but she’ll be transported to the present day! Or at least, that was the plan before the Writer’s Strike. Tamura, who is also shooting the live-action “Dragonball” movie (read more details here), still expects to return for Season 3 and continue her character’s arc.
More:
Tamura said that her character, [Yaeko], was supposed to be transported to the present in episodes that were scripted but not finished before the writers’ strike commenced last fall. “I am going to be in the present, yes,” Tamura said in an interview.
“I actually had a few episodes of the script then,” Tamura said, adding: “Suddenly, the strike happened, so we had to stop the shooting.”
Tamura added that she expects to return to the show for the upcoming third season, which begins production in May.
Even with the Writer’s Strike behind them, Heroes is still feeling the affects of it on its storylines. How much of what was expected to be in Season 2 will make it into Season 3? Or will Kring and company transfer everything over?
And oh yeah, I hope Tamura doesn’t get in trouble for this little spoiler!

Yeah, someone needs to teach this woman how to talk to the press.
But, then again, she’s just learning English, yes? Maybe we give her some slack?
Why is it I just can’t get excited about this next chapter? I was one of the biggest champions of the show in season one, but I was so disappointed in the first seven this year.
I would say the bloom is off the rose for me.
Ibrahim on 9 March 2008:
I enjoyed watching the Hiro/Yaeko from the past and will be glad to see a continuation of it.
I don’t know what to expect though from her transporation to the future, she can’t really do much, but use a sword? A love subplot with Hiro and a tag-along chick from the past… Hopefully it works out for the best.

David on 11 March 2008:
Maybe Hiro and her will have a child, the first of the lineage? Ew, I’m my own great something grandfather? haha It’d be funny, but hopefully as Ibrahim says, not drawn on. She’s gotta have a power of some sort to help the cause. How could Hiro, someone that can travel to ANY time, fall in love with just anyone (even if she is a cutie)?
Rolex on 14 March 2008:
She is not just anyone - his father read him stories about her. In the legend she is the most beautiful woman in Japan….
David on 2 April 2008:
Ha! What came first, Hiro meeting her, or the stories his dad told him?
