Heroes Storyline Will Travel to Canada

Reader Emma sent me this article in the TorontoSun.com that I thought our Canadian readers will get a kick out of. According to Heroes showrunner/producer/writer Tim Kring, “a ‘major city’ in Canada will be part of the storyline in the new season of Heroes.” Kring doesn’t mention which one, and writer Jeph Loeb wouldn’t elaborate, but although a part of the second season story will technically “take place” in Canada, it won’t actually be shot there, as all the show is shot on L.A. sets, even the New York scenes.

A “major city” in Canada will be part of the storyline in the new season of Heroes.
Tim Kring, the creator of the popular TV series which airs on Global and NBC, made the announcement yesterday through a pre-taped video message that was played to fans at a public gathering in Toronto.
“Actually, the storyline is going to take us to a certain part of Canada,” Kring said.
“Obviously, we’re going to shoot it here in L.A. But the story line will take us to a major city in Canada.”
Jeph Loeb, the executive producer of Heroes, was in Toronto on Thursday and yesterday, as were cast members Zachary Quinto (Sylar), James Kyson Lee (Ando), Noah Gray-Cabey (Micah) and newcomer Dania Ramirez (Maya).
“Well, if (Kring) didn’t reveal (specifically which Canadian city it’s going to be), then I can’t do that yet,” Loeb said. “But it is a major metropolis, and it actually is important.
“It’s one of the many mysteries that you’ll have.”
it will air at 9 but the special review episode will start at 8 so its actually 3hours long isnt ...

Ah yes, that “pre-taped video message” was the one on ‘Globals’ website that i posted on the forum a week ago. When i realized that i had to “Email the Heroes Scoop” (my bad), they changed the video on their site to a chopped up version of the event that took place in Toronto so i abandon it and just left my post unedited on the forum. Me being from Vancouver, BC i kinda hope it comes here (there is a pushpin on the map indicating a hero lives here). Oh, and I have a summary of what Kring said in that pre-taped message regarding Season 2 in my post on the forums under the website i attached to my comment.
Going to use a Canadian location? That is scary considering they don’t have a clue about Canadian geograpy. One of the episodes refered to someone being found in Sudbury, 100 miles north of Ontario.
They mentioned this during the short Q&A at the Heroes World Tour in Toronto.
This would be a lot more thrilling if they were actually filming in Canada.
That costume is awful compared to the real thing… You have to take a guided tour to see the real thing!
Can someone please tell me on what channel Heroes premiers tonight? I’m in Calgary (not originally from Canada, only here for a few months), so I have no idea which channel and what time, and really don’t want to miss it!!!
