Heroes Soundtrack and Music Videos are Coming
NBC knows Heroes fans will be dying for anything Heroes-related in-between now and September, when Season 3 begins, and they’re offering something for the fans: an official soundtrack will be released on March 18, and will be accompanied by music videos featuring footages from the show. Bands who will be included in the soundtrack (their song in parenthesis) includes”: Wilco, Panic! at the Disco, Imogen Heap, Brighton Port Authority featuring Iggy Pop, Bob Dylan, and David Bowie.

In addition, “Heroes” executive producer/director Allan Arkush has crafted five music video montage podcasts — featuring “Heroes” footage set to select tracks from the album — that will be exclusively available for free download on the Zune Marketplace online store and for streaming at MSN. Nada Surf’s “Weightless” will be the first available, starting Feb. 29.
The soundtrack, being released through NBC Records, will be available in CD format at Best Buy stores and digitally at Zune and other digital service providers. It is executive produced by music industry veteran Errol Kolosine in collaboration with “Heroes” creator/executive producer Tim Kring and Arkush.

? I got excited about the soundtrack, but that’s no soundtrack at all! How about the original music score, please?!
I agree. I’ve been hoping for a Heroes soundtrack because I love the original music, especially all of the different character themes. This is incredibly disappointing. And pathetic, really.
I was really hoping they’s have Rogue Waves “Eyes” on here… I can’t find that any where…
i also am disappointed they’re not including most of the score thats included in the show..even so..im buying the soundtrack as soooon as it comes out

it returns in september of this year. i know way too late. because of the writers strike.
they should put “eyes” by rogue wave in the cd, it was in two of the episodes, it makes more sense than putting in songs by panic at the disco…

What I ment was that I do not like that type of music that will be on the cd. I wanted the original music score with theme songs from the show, and not just a bunch of bands. I agree with Cat and Mark.

I wish people would stop thinking rebel is a micha. a 12 year old boy. anyone with any sense knows it’s the girl from season 1 whos ability is to intercept and transmit data like a computer. she contacted the radioactive man in season 1 in the exact same way that people are being contacted in fugitives.
ummmm… no in cold snap micha told us. besides hana has died, twice,. 1) she crashed primatechs satalite and killed her body but her spirit was left in the internet(GN). 2)when he and drucker tried to pull a file, elle zapped the computer with them still init. (GN)
