Heroes Season 4 Open Thread

First! I hope Season Four has more back story. I like when they explain what happened with Angela and the other ‘elders’ in the past.

I’m hoping we get a start date soon and they don’t change it.

Ok heres my list.
1 Give Peter back his damn empathy already and save Sylars imminent return for season five so hes not wasted.
2 SHOW DONT TELL! As amazing as season three was there was so much potential for awesome fights and the Sylar vs Petrelli duel behind a closed door was almost insulting to dedicated fans waiting to see that encounter. Five years gone was the best episode ever and it did the same thing. Were tired of not seeing awesome battles.
3 Dont jerk around your characters Most notably Elle, Sylar, and Mohinder were jerked around way to much this season.
4 Dont dead end your plot lines. IF Peter needs Sylars ability to save the world then he should actually need it to save the world for example.
Dont waste characters, if they die they should get a fight. Villains was full of cheap shot deaths none of them really involving a fight except in the makebelieve and then totally changed future. Maury, Adam, Elle, Knox, Jesse, German all died a really lame way without any struggle.
5 BRING BACK TIMETRAVEL/TELEPORT Ok so some viewers dont read comic books and are easily confused dont get time travel, most of your target audience does and every fan I know loves it. I dont care how redundant it is the most awesome stories come from trying to save the world from a destructive future.
6 Sylar needs to cut peoples heads open to gain powers. There is no reason for him to have empathy so unless you reveal one and its convincing, not so much since he and peter are not brothers, he shouldnt have it and even if he does its shouldnt work for him.
Things we liked this season want to see more of.
1 Multiple villains. Especially with Sylar out you need more than one bad and now that you wated all of the big shots short of bringing them back these will need to be new characters or some of our heroes need to go bad for a good reason.
2 If someone shifts there allegiance there needs to be a point of no return. Dont like characters switching sides back and forth on a whim all the time.
3 Villains with powers are much more exciting than the government agents which are comparatively lame.
4 Need the Company again hope we are not disapointed having to see a company run off of the idealistic views of Claire, Peter, and Hiro, should still be morally gray.
5 Not knowing who is good or bad was a definite plus. Im still not convinced that Arthur was evil.
6 Bring back some villains who have a good chance of surviving their ordeal. If Sylar came back no reason Arthur couldnt. Love to see Adam but guess hes out. Also Flint should be back he could easily have survived since immune to fire. Do not however bring back MEredith she is lame.
7 Keep Tracy around another Ali Larter clone (Barbara) would be lame.
8 Only make new characters if you intend to keep them around for a while. One shot characters like Alex, Luke, etc or wasted characters like Maya and Monica end up taking away from the main storyline and your amazing core characters.
9 Same goes for powers. Some of the old powers that are gone should come back, we’ve already seen that multiple people can have the same power. No one wants to see someone who can breathe under water on screen. Please for the love of god only amazing powers no lame ones.
10 I like everyone already being together. Please dont waste the first ten episodes trying to bring Ando, Hiro, Mohinder and any new foreigners to New York to tie everything together. It was great in season one but now its just frustrating.
11 You accomplished what was necessary for Peter and Hiro very nicely by taking away their powers now that they have gotten smarter and less reliant give them back. At least let Peter be able to hold onto multiple. IF you want to be cheap about it let him take empathy from Sylar since you gave it to the bad guy for some reason.
12 On a side note Since Peter was able to go through all of Sylars powers and know how to distinguish shapeshifting but only got that it stands to reason that he should be able to tell that Sylar/Nathan has multiple powers when they touch.
13 Despite what everyone else has been saying I like what you did with Claire and it has made her a better more heroic character. I was worried in villains with the whiny cant feel pain thing. We like her more when she is not feeling sorry for herself so keep her that way.

More flash back of company will be greatly appreciated to. Also clarification on continuity of the web comics which are occasionally in conflict with show. Please explain Adams involvement in company and prove my theory correct that Arthurs power is Synthetic and came from the first time they used the formula.
