Heroes Season 3 Promo Video: Choose a Side - UPDATED

Wow, this is easily the best Heroes Season 3 promo NBC has put out so far. If you’re not jazzed up to see the Season 3 premiere NOW, then you aren’t a true Heroes fans. And yes, while these do seem to contain spoilers, since NBC is publicly showing them, and will be airing them non-stop throughout their network in the weeks to come, I’m not going to tell you to avoid them at all cost if you’re one of those spoiler-phobes. Because let’s face it, NBC wants you to see these, and as such, they no longer qualify as the site spoiling things for you.
Having said that, the promo is a minute long, and contains a lot of the footages we’ve already seen from past promos, but with plenty of new stuff added in:
The Sylar and Claire stuff, Level 5, a quick bit with Hiro and Ando (yes, he’s back, fans of dull salaryman), and our first ACTUAL video look at Future Claire, brunette and all, telling Peter, “I’ve always loved you” before pointing her gun at him. I guess NBC realized this spoiler had already been spoiled pretty well by the net, so they decided to just go ahead and show it.

I knew Mohinder would hook up with Maya. Now they can be annoying together, admittedly they are both attractive but their characters deserve each other for their stupidity.

I had chills too !!! WOW is really all and more that I can say ! Claire , Peter better not have gotten that bullet in the head cause , then he’s gone
and peter still has that scar for some reason so can’t wait to see why ??? Just 68 more days !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can’t wait for season 3 now!!!!!!! By the way, I think Maya was a cool new addition to the HEROES cast, it was just the strike that messed everything up. They will all probably have new stories containing adrenaline making us all shout “WOW!”

If you look at mohinda, he is injecting himself which i think is iszak’s drugs(heroin) saying “this is god’s plan”. By him becoming a junky like iszak was, do you think that is how he got his power??? Hmmmm

Clare shooting Peter, Hiro and Ando together again, Suresh looks like he’s turning into a druggie, Angie being her old devious self, Nikki/Jessica/or whoever, Level 5 villans, heroes turning into villans. Well my god I can’t wait, it looks amazing!!!!!

i know exactly what mohinder was injecting into his arm!!!
its simple, the cumpany or something similer has perfected a drug extracted from “gifted people” and made it into a form that can be injected into a human thus turning them into a gifted person also and mohinder takes the drug and has temporarrilly been given a power!!! that would be a great storyline lol or maby it already is

the one saying”this is god’s plan”is linderman and if u look at mohinder dangling from the cieling his legs are holding him to somethingso i guess this has something to do with his power,also sylar is throwing claire not mohinder.

This is amazing… I Love heroes!
I Loved Season1 and liked season 2 but this is so much better!
I hope that the season will be as good as the promo
And about mohinder hmm.. that would be interesting if he would have a power, maybe he had one the hole time or he will become one with this injectin
And I hope the relationchip between claire and peter won´t change, I am afraid that she couldn´t be his niece! [I don´t want a Love story between them]

Oh well, he’s survived getting stabbed with a sword, the company and hit by electricty from Elle, how much damage can a little knife do…

I think you’re so right. There’s a cut for a reason, there’s something inbetween and it’s got to be incredibly important for them to not include it in the trailer. Plus we don’t know whta Peter is doing as she speaks, they show the clip of him shutting his eyes but we don’t know it’s from the same scene.

I’m curious that none of you have thought that a lot of these images (of characters we know to be dead) could be events in the past. A main character is a time traveler and Peter can mimic this ability; there is no need to tell a linear story and no reason that events in this season couldn’t be events that have happened in the past, but which we are not privy to yet.
Another explanation is that at least one of these Villains from level 5 is either a shape-changer. We have seen a character like this but different. I don’t remember her name, but she projected images and could make you see her and the world the way she wanted you to. I don’t believe there has been a true shape-changer yet. One that changes their physical body. Am I forgetting one?

I think you are referring to Candice though she also used the names Betty (her real name) and Michelle (after she rescued Sylar). As far as we’ve been told, she’s dead though we have seen powers repeat and similar powers show up. As for a non linear story, that’s a very real possibility.
Am I the only one really missing Claude?
I am totally on Claude’s side for anything.:)

I too miss Claude. I wish they could bring him back, but I think he’s really busy with movies and such.

i think the “im sorry” comes after where she says “i always loved you” because she is looking down, so she must have shot him and he fell to the flooor and thats when she says it

When Mohinder is injecting himself with…God knows what… that is not his voice saying “This is God’s plan”. It almost sounds like Linderman’s (Yay, Malcolm McDowell
). I know it sounds weird because he’s dead but it sounds like something he would have said when he was alive; flashback perhaps?

hmmm mohinnder doesnt have to be injecting himself maybe hes taking blood out of him remeber his blood is the cure for the shanti virus, anyways it does look like peter is teleporting and the ebd there cuz hiro and him tend to close their eyes b4 porting im really looking forward to seeing the blue flame guy he looks really crazy cant wait till sept 22 alot of people duied and came back i wouldnt doubt that nathen is ome of em same with niki/jessica or whoever shes gonna be this time and doesnt she still have the virus? she never did get the cure from mohinder cuz sylar stole it. and if you mixed mohinders blood with clairs wouldnt that be the miracle cure
add a dash of alejandros and you could even stop mayas eye virus thing to hmm cant wait to see what happens

All i can say is WOW!!! Claire about to shoot Peter?! And Nikki and Nathan are still alive!! AWESOME!!!! I think that Maya and Mohinder hooking up (possibly?) would kind of be stupid: i mean, both roles are very interesting and unique, but it happens in EVERY SHOW!! Two people hook up… its lame beans. Maya and Mohinder should just stay friends.
Oh, and what’s up with Matt?? He’s like in the middle of nowhere!! Where the hell is he?!

Wow, can’t wait for September. But I think Claire says “I’m sorry Peter” and then shoots someone else, someone they both know and who Claire “always loved”. And I really hope Nathan comes back, he was oneof the originals!!

Yeah, I’m not convinced she’ll shoot him ‘dead’, she could be just crippling him and there is an obvious cut in the scene from her saying “Sorry Peter” and “I always loved you”.
We also are only seeing HER, we have no idea what’s going on in HER line of sight and we don’t know if Peter has moved or if someone else has moved in front or what. She’s not moved but that’s not to say no-one else in the scene hasn’t.
Besides, it’s a future episode and those, while entertaining, are pretty pointless (there are too many paradoxes with time travel like Hiro should ALWAYS have been in the photo with Charlie and Hiro, and Ando, couldn’t have travelled to the specific future cos events did not transpire that the bomb went off on that day so everything would have changed, as they stopped Sylar, and in doing that changed the future it so it should have been different too). I’ve only just started understanding paraodoxes thanks to this show and sometimes they totally create their own and it’s annoying (a couple of years ago it’d have all gone over my head).

well, that was certainly quite a video. god, this makes waiting even harder. we finally get to see claire attacked by sylar. i mean she nevr gets attacked by him. as much as i like her, she needs some action. poor,poor matt, all alone in the desert. level 5….ooooh, gives u the chills doesnt it. mohinder looked a bit creepy, and if he gets a powr i think it will be cool but then again if mo gets a power then there wont be a lot of non-abilitied ppl. non-abilitied? that is not a word.ugh, maya, i shake my head. i wanted her dead. she really had no role in season2 unless u count tagging along with sylar and then kissing him a role. i get what ppl r saying, that maya isnt that bad, but still. and her power is just weird.

Read the spoilers from Comic-Con (on the right) for more.
The season 3 premiere is titled “The Butterfly Effect”.
Remember a movie of the same name four years ago? The premise was, “if you could travel back in time and undo a horrible incident, would you?”
- Maya goes to Mohinder to remove her power, samples her blood and learns her powers aren’t genetic. He injects HIMSELF with the blood, and becomes super strong.
- Nikki is alive, and the mistress to the New York Govenor
- Future Peter returns, and he shoots Nathan. Matt tracks him, and Future Peter teleports Matt into the desert somewhere.
- Nathan goes to the hospital, Future Peter shows up. Mrs. Petrelli knows it’s not Peter, and tells future Peter to leave, saying, “You’re messing with the timeline again.”
- Noah returns to the company, gets a new partner. SYLAR.
- Sylar kills Claire, opens her brain, takes her “invisible” power, she heals. Sylar says, “You can never die, Claire, and now neither can I”.

In the red file, I saw a name, Jesse Murphey. It’s one of the level five villains. I wonder what he does…
