Heroes Season 2 Press Conference Controversy

When NBC released a list of who will be showing up for the Season 2 press conference of Heroes to promote the upcoming season, a lot of people on the Internet went nuts trying to analyze it. A lot of Heroes sites, as well as non-Heroes sites, had all kinds of theories. I don’t really understand it myself, since it’s kind of silly to read a lot into who will be (and won’t be) showing up in Season 2 by a list of names scheduled for a press conference. But in case you missed it, the names are below…
Santiago Cabrera (Isaac Mendez), Leonard Roberts (D.L. Hawkins), Zachary Quinto (Gabriel “Sylar” Grey), Adrian Pasdar (Nathan Petrelli), Milo Ventimiglia (Peter Petrelli), Jack Coleman (Noah Bennet), Hayden Panettiere (Claire Bennet), Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman), Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura), Ali Larter (Niki Sanders) and Sendhil Ramamurthy (Mohinder Suresh).
The curious thing about the list is Santiago Cabrera’s name. He’s supposed to be dead, isn’t he?
And where is Noah Gray-Cabey (Micah)? You’ll also notice that Jimmy Jean-Louis (the Haitian) is nowhere to be found on that list, either. Likewise with Missy Peregrym (Candice).
What to make of the list?
The conference is scheduled for today, so we’ll know what they said, or didn’t say, by tomorrow.
I think it was Peter who shot Nathan. Future Peter, I mean. Remember season 1 where they were talking about ...

The list is interesting. Little Noah may not be there because he’s to young, maybe? We’ve heard about his plotline after all. I’m confused about Leonard Roberts - he IS on the list, did you mean The Haitian?
I hope Isaac appears only in someone’s memories. Prophecies was a very important part of season 1, it’s possible they want to continue that trend. I guess Peter’s role doesn’t involve painting.

So, Peter and Nathan are on the list? So that means they didn’t die? This makes me happy, but also even more impatient about waiting for volume 2!

Hopefully all the analysing is over because didn’t TK say at the conference that it was about promoting season one and not really an indication of season two. Which would explain SC being there…

maybe they will show issac in flashbacks or hiro goes back to save him after he gets out of fuedal japan. 89 days till season 2 and 2 months. the best is yet to come.

So, nikki will in the season2,wont she. i mean i dont know that it is a reliable list……

the first episode of the new season is set four months after the bomb, which explains certain people believed to be dead to be on the list. there will most likely be flashbacks of memories with “dead” people in them.
ps. this is THE best show on tv.
