Of course it’s no surprise that Heroes, including its cast and crew, will be converging on the 2007 Comic Con convention on Saturday, July 28 to promote the show. The convention has gotten so big that just about anyone who is anyone wants to be there to hawk their wares, especially if you have a sci-fi/comic book movie/show. And if you plan to attend the Comic Con in San Diego July 26-29, save about 75 minutes to attend the Heroes panel, where you’ll get a glimpse of some exclusive clips from the upcoming Season 2, and get in on the question and answer session with the cast and crew.
Heroes will get its chance at the spotlight on Saturday, from 12:45 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Here’s Comic Con’s blurb on the event:
12:45-2:00 Heroes: Exclusive Volume II Clip and Q&A—Heroes chronicles the lives of ordinary people who discover they possess extraordinary abilities. Be the first to see an exclusive clip from Volume II and learn more about the DVD Heroes 360 and more. Participate in a Q&A session moderated by co-executive producer/comic book writer Jeph Loeb, with creator Tim Kring, comic book artist Tim Sale (Batman: The Long Halloween), and the entire cast—Jack Coleman (H.R.G.), Noah Gray-Cabey (Micah Sanders), Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman), Ali Larter (Niki Sanders), James Kyson Lee (Ando), Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura), Hayden Panettiere (Claire Bennet), Adrian Pasdar (Nathan Petrelli), Zachary Quinto (Sylar), Sendhil Ramamurthy (Mohinder Suresh), Dania Ramirez (Maya), Milo Ventimiglia (Peter Petrelli), and more. So basically, EVERYONE will be there!
ADDED: Got an email that added to what Heroes will be doing at Comic Con:
-NBC will be running a Heroes booth that will be a recreation if Isaac’s loft from the show. At the booth, there’ll be Cheerleaders handing out Heroes comic books, Heroes pins, Topps trading cards, and other promotional items. There’ll also be daily raffles for limited edition Heroes lunchboxes.
-At the NBC panel on Saturday, there’ll be a pre-screening of the extra content that’ll be featured on the Heroes Season 1 DVD, and there’ll be a handout of special Comic-Con slipcases for the DVD set at the panel. The DVD will be released on August 28th, and will have hours of extra footage from the show, including deleted scenes, commentary, and other content.
