Heroes Renewed for 2008-2009 Season

With the Writer’s Strike all over and done with (well, pretty much, there are a couple of little things that has to be ironed out), NBC has announced that their scripted shows will heading back into production, with new episodes scheduled to come out in March and April. Unfortunately that won’t include Heroes, new episodes of which will probably not see the light of day until September 2008, starting with Season 3. And oh yeah, to no one’s surprise, NBC has announced that Heroes has been renewed for the 2008-2009 schedule, thus guaranteeing Season 3. What, you thought they wouldn’t renew the show? Don’t be ridiculous.
Along with Heroes, NBC has also announced the renewal of their cop show Life and their new show Chuck.

“Heroes” is NBC’s #1 series this season in adults 18-49, the #1 Monday series on any network in adults 18-49 and the #1 scripted series on any network in adults 18-34. This season, “Heroes” has averaged a 6.2 rating, 14 share in adults 18-49 and 13.1 million viewers overall.
The Heroes renewal is no surprise, but it’s nice to get it official anyways.

I’m glad they are not coming back for only a few episodes. I am upset that the story didn’t get farther, but giving me another half of a season would just be pouring salt on the wound. HOORAY! Heroes returning, or should I say VILLIANS returning? Hope they start piling up the bodies first thing when it returns. DEATH TO PARKMAN… Ha ha ha…
Glad to here about Season 3 coming back for 08-09 because that writing thing was pissing me off. But I had read something about Peter being in a pool of blood, Hiro pinned up by his sword and Matt throat ripped open…I just hope Peter isn’t killed off. But am looking forward to the new villains and level five of the company.But I guess I got to wait till Sept.
There is a god! Heroes is coming back soon. The previews look very tempting.

YAY! HEROES RETURNS!!! i am so very happy that its offical and all, but it kind of sucks that we couldnt get more this season… thanks a lot writers (and producers i guess)!
i heard they have stories for up to 5 seasons thats sweet if they renew it that long or ever longer cuz heroes friggin rocksand i always new they would renew it for season 3 there was no surprise there lol
just wish it would of came back sooner ah well at least the strike is over
I just had a crazy idea. What if they put Heroes Origins on air in the next couple months before the summer. Crazy idea, but hey I can’t wait that long for heroes either.
i relly like the heroes series so i hope u can on air in my country,Indonesia. in the past time the heroes season1 was be here, but for the season2 they lost. ihope u can send the next season for the offical tv partner in Indonesia.

New characte to be added in the episode when Peter first meets the invisible man he mentions having run into someone else with Peter’s powers this character needs to show up.
i think heroes needs to give us a lil something to hang on to. i think we have waited long enough! every show has came back i wish i could get a piece of my show.

i just hope that they air a recap episode before the beginning of season three this fall (much like abc did for lost) since by that time it will have been 9 months since the last new episode of heroes.
that’s simply not true. you have no information to back up your statements. yes, nbc is going through a rough patch, but heroes is one of their strongest shows (along with the office) so they would never let it go.
Please Please Please let us know in England when we will be getting Series 2 on our tv’s.
Now this is an outrage! I have been waiting for darn near 6 freakin months anticipating the day Heroes would come back on and I hear that is not F***in comin back till September now I’m mad!
