It is nice to see a like mind among the fandom. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I LOVE THIS SHOW! When it first came out, I had all but stopped watching tv entirely. When I finally did get into it around the fourth or fifth episode of season 1, I instantly fell in love with it. To this day, even in this age of Tivo and DVR, I make a point of making facetime with the television set on Monday nights for this show (granted, I can't do that now because I take night classes, but my heart is still there for this show like that!)
I guess it just irritates me when fans pretend the show is utterly perfect and that there's not a single flaw to be found.

finnaly something we can agree on. i too thought season 3 was off to a very good start then about 4 or 5 episodes in it went down a slippery slope so hopefully they can bring back heroes to the way it was in season 1. cause i love this show even though my ranting can make people think differently. i only do it cause i care. lol

I forgot all about the necessary cover story for that situation. I guess I was more worried about how the head of a major national company (Yamagato) disappears for months at a time and NO ONE starts an investigation to look for him. Granted, Hiro seems to be more of a figurehead for his father's company anyway, but not even the slightest mention? They could have thrown the situation a bone on the news he and Ando saw at Parkman's while looking for baby Matt or something.
I hate playing devil's advocate with KG sometimes, but when he's right, he's right. It's the little things in the whole attention-to-detail package that seem to make the show a lot less than what it could be.
However, I'm quite less skeptical on the shelf life of this show. I got a feeling it'll survive as a niche show until the writing crew REALLY gets its act together. So far, they're off to a good start…which was exactly what I thought about season 3 once upon a time, which ultimately proved to have a rather unsavory balance of good, bad, and ugly moments. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how things turn out with this present course.
As always, I'm hoping for the best!

theres no positive and negative to me…. i post what i see and the ratings are the lowest theyve ever been so this is more than likely there last season unless things drasticly improve. but i give it to them things are looking better. samuel is awesome…. but what i said .. it's not like it isnt true when have they ever had a cover story for anythinig. can you tell me….please:) . ill be nice….
