Finally!! We get to find out wat that dame eclipse is all about…….i wonder if it would explain anything from tha 1st. ep. on season 2 when the eclipse happened…hmmm

Hey It said that the previous eclipse was when their got their powers, does that mean, this eclipse, powerless Peter will get back his basic power back.

i think the eclipse awakens powers i people who are genetically prone to powers. aka. natural powers. why idk. but it think itll be how peter gets his empathy power back and then start collecting powers again.

i also think it will enhance, reveal something new or change slightly some natural heroes who still have their powers.

some possible things to consider…

-we’ll know why claire is ‘more special’
-sylar gets all his season 1 stolen powers back.
-matts powers get stronger, more like maury.
-this is where ando’s red electricity power actually comes from.

i liked last episode how they confirmed that the haitian could block mr. petrelli’s powers…we need that guy now more than ever.

last nights vilians filled in some questions but i think it was poorly paced.

I don’t think episode 8 was the best one so far but I think it was needed to explain about Arthur. The whole Flint story was decent and I loved the Sylar story.

HANG ON!!! Tracy was was with Aruther. Is she bad, or is she in there helping nathen. The preview looks god, personally that should be the preview for part 1, this is 1 episode before

This season sucks! I just cant stay into this show anymore. Too much going on all the time and it just doesnt interest me at all! Im so sick of pointless story lines that are in the future then back to the past then from the past to present and back to the future again and all of a sudden a whole episode in the past with nathan’s dad that was pointless! stuff about sylars ability and getting that gun power that he never used previously but im guessing that we will see him or peter all of a sudden start using now… I hate how its always like 5 different story lines at the same time then all of a sudden it all comes together to just randomly jump off in another direction again. There is really no point to show the past and show what happened to nathan/peter/sylars father.. NOBODY CARES! this show is doomed! The constant and steady decline in ratings proves it!

Everyone keeps saying that Sylar never used the finger gun thing but he did. If you guys remember, he shot at that blond FBI agent and Matt Parkman in season 1.

well what I don’t understand is why doesn’t Claire give Peter her blood? I mean she knows it can heal people cause in season two her dasd was shot and they used her blood to bring him back…and Sylar used it to regain his power…gosh lol

and I personally think Sylar and Elle are like perfect for each other the last episode when she kinda used him was sorta sad…but i think they get married and have that kid in the future

I´m sorry to inform Heroes fan that appearently Heroes wasn´t aired yesterday as promised.
So if any of you had problems viewing Heroes last night , that was because nothing was being aired.
The actual date for the releasing of episode 9 , wasn´t november 10th , but rather november 17th.
Whoever doesn´t believe me can just surf the web in search of heroes season 3 episode 9 , and if I am right , that means that the episode itself has not been fully produced. An episode needs to be produced before it is released , so please be patient,

Emily, in season 2 Claires’ blood with mohinders’ blood only cured sylar ‘cos he had the shanti virus, and that was a cure for the shanti virus.

Anyway, loving this season so far…except for peter losing his powers >.<
One way i think Peter could get his powers back is if someone has a linderman type power (like how linderman healed angela’s “Scars”).

And correct me if im wrong, did i see Arthur taking Hiro’s powers :O

Heroes Watcher, the reason that Heroes Season 3 Episode 9 didn’t air lastn ight is because Season 3 Episode 8 aired last night

Emily, you’re right about the fact that Claire’s blood can heal Peter, but I don’t think that she know’s it yet.

Since when is it a fact that Clair’s blood can heal Peter? My money is on the new formula or the eclipse.

Claire knows her blood can heal people.

In season 2, when her dad came back alive in the last episode, she asked him “I thought you got shot” to which he replied “They injected me with your blood. It healed me.”

No actually Claire said “I saw you get shot” to which her dad told her that. :p

In both the past feudal Japan and New York the eclipse woke their powers so either a second eclipse will increase or somehow alter the one’s who have power or take them away…Arthur is on a time line to get the formula perfected before the eclipse so my guess would be the formula will give him the ability to recreate any power without having to be around someone with it and the eclipse will enhance it making it more powerful. Those who no longer have powers (Peter) and those who are latent (Ando) will develop for the 1st time.

If the eclipse will remove Arthur’s powers for a few days then the formula is to keep both he and his team powerful during that time when they strike out at Angela…Attack during the eclipse.

This is probably why he wants to get Peter back because he knows Peter will get his powers back during the eclipse…He wants Clair because she is the missing element to the formula.

I tend to gravitate towards the second idea because Arthur doesn’t seem to be the kind of guy who would allow himself to be weak even for a second…Look what happened with Angela.

I only put up the 1st one because someone like Arthur would do what ever it took to have all the powers out there…Hell not even the dog was safe from this guy (you know he killed it).

Yeah but Peter isn’t hurt he is just powerless. Clair’s blood can heal the body it hasn’t been proven to restore powers…Syler had a virus that stunted his powers this why he was able to recapture his old power when the virus was gone…TK is ingrained somehow, still doesn’t explain why he can’t use the powers he took from before…Maybe he can’t reconfigure his brain to use those powers he lost because his super memory was wiped clean to.

So they recreated the past to tie everything together for us and then remove that knowledge from Hiro’s head putting them back at square one again. I love the fact that I just can’t see where this is going. I am so intrigued…Great work.

If the eclipse changes or takes away ability’s why didn’t it do that when Hiro was in the past? his powers didnt change of disappeared. so my guess is that either they forgot about that (:P:P) or the eclipse only awakens powers with people who have “the ability gen”.

Oh, and how the F did Arthur know what Hiro was dreaming about? And the fact Hiro was dreaming in the first place.

Good question Triton. I have no idea though. I am looking forward to the next episode as well as the next 3 episodes. All this eclipse stuff gets me xcited b/c I can see how it affects/changes the characters. Plus, it looks like it involves most of the cast. I know Kring said he wanted to simplify it, but sometimes the whole cast experiencing something like this is great. Can’t wait until next Monday.

I was wondering why didn’t Usutu hide behind a rock to welcome Arthur like he welcomed Hiro. LOL!

It does make sense that arthur was erasing hiros memory insted of taking his power because he already has hiros power.

Jeff, you make me sad. Not because you are on a heros site insulting the show, go to a ‘Lost’ forum for that. I am sad because you clearly think that complaining about how you don’t like the show will make Tim Kring drop everything, get out his phone and call you so that your brilliance in story telling can help him salvage the show. Episode 8. conversation between Elle and Mister Horn Rims about Sylar “How do we get him to transfer powers from one medium to the next?” i.e. he doesnt have to take the powers into himself. i.e. taking Peter’s powers back from his dad and giving them to Peter. Second Eclipse will awaken that power in Sylar. or perhaps in Claire. just a shot in the dark though. and i’m betting Nathan will develop something more than just flight….. Kind of a sissy power. Even the powerpuff girls could whip his ass lol.

I hope arthur dies soon cause powerless peter sucks he needs to get his some of his powers back but not all of them other wise he’s too powerful.

jeff, go screw yourself, and second, although mr petrelli is one damn powerful villain, sum1 better take out his ass. I liked kensei and he killed him, and i think he has taken Usutu’s power because that looked a little like slylars power, i know it took the head off completely unlike sylar, but slyar was able to cut flesh too. either that or he has absorbed angela’s sleep and dream the future power possibly. Because we dont know any other person who has had the future telling power; and thus he wouldnt have known about hiro otherwise.
And peter will clearly get his power back but uber powerful, or he will get new ones with the new syrem.
Plus just a thought, is he able to use the hatian’s power, cause that would be pretty powerful if he could stop his dad from using his abilities near him.

I am really curious to c how the solar eclipse effects the heroes, it’s really intresting to think about, and how the hell is their another solar eclipse if the last one happened a year ago, that’s what i want to know

Benjaminw, I love your idea about Peter having the Haitian’s ability! Once Peter gets his powers back - though how and in what way will determine what he can do - it would be perfect to kill Arthur by first neutralizing his powers, as I’m sure he has a number that would be helpful in avoiding death. Then again, Peter would have to either be forced into calling forth the power (ala Claude) or be informed of the nature of the Haitian’s power. We’ll have to wait and see.

On a side note, I wonder what the Haitin does to Claire…if she is hurt while he is neutralizing her power, would she die/be hurt? At this point, would she feel the pain of being hurt? And is that possibly why future Peter has the scar on his face?

I just can’t wait for next Monday!!

I think that the heroes should use claire’s blood to revive Niki so she can help them fight

I LOVE the music in this teaser. Didn’t it play during the season finale of season 1? I wish they’d release it officially. It’s so emotional and epic.

I wanna add…

I believe that the “Future Eclipse”’s meaning isn’t that of enhancing heroes abilities/ restoring them.. But the Future Eclipse means the choosing of sides. When that Eclipse happens, the line up of official Heroes and Villains will be drawn.. Who will face who and what will be needed to be done..

Maybe the Eclipse will happen at the end of this episode.. Who knows??

The beauty of Heroes is is that it keeps us guessing and thinking.. But at the same time, it does that too much and sometimes people get too lost.. I love this show to death and I hope that things will get better starting with next week’s episode..

I hope Heroes never tries to dumb down it’s show to the level of most of you people. “Time travel’s too confusing…WAAAAA”
