Damn…I hope Sylar and Peter team up to save the world

Peter is now powerless. His father with his ability and all that other power. This last episode turns heroes on it head completely and made it do 360’s. It seems as if Sylar is the only hero left. Peter has at least the hunger gone from him so he is now “himself” again at least. One strange thing about this connection between the fam. Peter, can absorb ability. Sylar can extract ability threw the brain knowing its function. Arthur on the other hand can extract/absorb an ability threw touch. All so alike but different in their own special way. I do believe that Sylar was given away to adoption because they didn’t see or know his ability. Thought he was another dud like Nathan. Since they have seen the error of their ways in the Nathan testing, they just gave him up. I think even though Sylar has done some pretty bad stuff, he wants to be good or better at least. I remember his struggle to be good. To know why he would want to blow up all those people in New York in the first season. There was always a mental struggle in his head to be good. Anyways I always thought of Peter and Sylar to be like yin-yang. Both the same yet they have some slight differences, like unidentical twins.

Another thought everyone remembers the scar on peters face. Well wouldn’t this be the time for him to get it. I mean he is sitting there with no ability to heal or do anything. In the preview we see Arthur talking to Sylar about Revenge. Well Peter did whoop Sylars ass talking about being all powerful. Well I think Arthur has big plans for Sylar. I don’t think on the other hand he wants to kill Peter knowing he is his brother and all. Maybe though teach him a lesson and have a reminder for the rest of his life like a scar perhaps. He was all about having some scars as reminders in the future. After all he knew all about the scar in the future.

Peter will get his powers back with the formula. I’d imagine that Arthur is trying to get it created to use on the world. Sylar will come, Sylar will kick ass, Sylar is god

I know Peter will get his power back. Future Peter had his powers with a Scar. We know that Peter can heal. Well if he can heal how does he have a scar. He had to loose his powers to get one. Then once he got his powers back he still would have had the scar. So this will fill in the blank I think. But we don’t know if Arthur can give powers back. We do know he can take them away. But what if he is just borrowing peters powers for now. We just don’t fully understand what is going on. Arthur’s power maybe to take powers away or give them back or mix and match with only a touch. Who knows its only a thought.

Can you imagine growing up in the Petreli home?…Talk about dysfunctional times 100, A sick sadistic bitch for a mother and psychotic, delusional twisted tyrant for a father and these are there good qualities…Eat your vegetables Peter or it’s level 5 for you.

yh i agree with what some1 said he will probs get the injection and as his Dna is the same the same power will come back.
Pity he will have 2 travel the world 2 get the good powers back.

Here’s a theory i’ve been thinking about. What if Arthur had a dream of the future or was told about one in which one of his sons healed him of his abilities, stole them away, with a power like Lindermans. Certainly we know that Arthur hated Linderman and was scared of him so this could link in. And what if the dream wasn’t quite accurate and Gabriel was given away thinking it might be him that does it ( perhaps Arthur was told an Angel would kill him i.e Angel Gabriel ) that would explain why Gabriel was given up for adoption. We know that some abilities don’t manifest until quite late in life and that some abilities are masked…again like Gabriels ability to know how things work. This concludes with the person who has the hidden ability to heal as Nathan, that’s how he survived been shot and also why he’s seen as a child playing with an aeroplane ( his synthetic ability to fly ) and an Angel ( his latent natural ability to heal others! )

Another possibility is that Nathan also has the, yet hidden, natural ability to absorb others powers but doesn’t know how to use it, having spent time with Linderman he could have absorbed his power. This would also link him to the other Petrelli men who all have a similar ability!

im ticked that peter lost his stupid powers, though i do feel there was ways he could have over came his mishap…but truly arthur’s power well truly they have to give him a catch to his power, you can’t give a villian the power to take away and keep others powers with out there being a catch to balance it out, sylar might not be a good guy for ever and ever, maybe just till the end of this volume. Peter and Hiro can’t go raw, Matt is on some stable ground and daphne or how ever you spell her name won’t kill matt, and she might be around for just this volume. Suresh welp he’s gone loco, his future is probably the most stickiest of them all i mean so far their seems no fix to what he’s done and he feels like he’s moved so far forward theres no going back, and plus when he was the opening speaker, i think he is the one who watched the track to closely so he ended up suprise to where it has brought him.

Oh and kudos to Hiro, but the funny thing about the episode was the when they where looking at the paintings and hiro’s like “why does he look familar?” ando replies “they all look the same to me” Hiro walks forward responding “that’s racist” i couldn’t help but laugh in that unexpected feedback! Hiro and ando bring great comedian relief to the show thats for sure.

Now claire to be honest she bores me.

One thing I wondered, will Gabriel become bad again if his mother is killed? I doubt he would become a bomb as opposed to just becoming a maniac.

It took me ages to work out how adam was killed, but then it became obvious, his power was the only reason he was alive, so once it was absorbed his true age appeared killing him

I do hope peter gets his powers back, I really want to see a huge run down between him and his dad, If he was injected with the forumula thing, then surely he would have all of his abilities back, and could have a final show down. I wonder if peters dad now also has the hunger? He seems to have every other ability of peter’s.

The final thing that is bugging me is how Peter was healed in the first place, 1 possibility is that matt parkmans dad, when he puts the thought of linderman into someones head, he can also access the ability that he had which was to heal,

Orr, when Nathan was healed with Adams blood, that somehow altered him into always being able to heal in emergencys, im not sure.

The question is was he able to take his absorbing ability from Pete, it’s possible that he can’t take his primary power since it’s absorbing similar to his own…one cancels the other out.

Meaning after some time he will be able to absorb his powers back from dear old dad. So it’s true Syler is the only one with some sense.

Hmmm, I think Arthur is gathering up a team so he can have a massive ability feast with his son, Sylar. That would be a great way for them to bond. = D

But why is there a scar in the first place? i mean peter absorbs abilities… he had regenaration from claire.. then he blown up… than again he encountered with claire and adam also…so he took the ability back…. so why is there a scar in the first place… he could still be invisible after the blow as i saw so he still had the regenaration before his father unpowered him. Now if he get’s a scar and get his absorbing power back than he can absorb his power from his father who has also regen or sylar (gabriel) and he could heal the scar, no?

So why he doesn’t do that hmm..?

arthers 1st power is 2 take and use other peoples powers. we dont no yet but he could probally give the back or 2 new people.
o and we no that he has the same power as the parkmans coz he spoke 2 adam in his head.

OK people, I’ll make this simple. Arther has the power to take and use other people’s powers through touch. He can take someone’s primary power and in the case of Peter all the other powers one may have obtained.

In the case of Adam…think back to what Angela said in season 2 about him. His cells have regenerated for so long that he stopped aging. Thus, when Arther removes Adam’s ability he instantly ages and dies.

To answer other questions - it would make sense that Arther can now absorb other’s abilites like Peter without touching them and it would also stand to reason that he now has Syler’s power and the hunger (whether the hunger will affect such a powerful person remains to be seen). Also, as for F_Peter’s scar - It would make sense that somehow Peter (now that he can not regenerate) will be injured and develop a scar. At some point afterwards, he may regain his ability to absorb other’s powers (whether through an injection with the formula, or another person who can restore powers) and gain most of his abilities back just by being around those he obtained them from in the first place.

I guess Arthur just has that one power, of taking or better stealing the powers of others @Supersmart. I think he just took once a power of someone, who could tell to people through his mind like Maury or so. Or he already got Maurys Power also, we don’t know, because we didn’t see him in Episode 6. It could happened, or it’s just something else…

But anyway I HATE Arthur Petrelli now! Because he took Adams Power and KILLED him. God. If I were able to kill this man, I totally would do it! First I liked Arthur, but I hope someone take revenge on him for what he has done.
I already miss Adam and his british accent, his way of thinking and so on.
god, please bring adam back he’s my favorite! =(

good ideas everyone it makes sence nathen may have the same ability as sylar peter and his dad maybe thats why he healed and flight was just his symthetic ability maybe sylar chops of arthurs head and peter gets his ability bak or maybe the person who the ability was took from will return if you touch him again thats why he locks peter up in the preview and i think he and he would not need to take the other villians powers he recruted becuase he has them or maybe he is taking there ability so they can not stop him thats why he’s recruting the most powerful

ok this whole season has left me with more questions then answers rly whts this whole thing of peter losing his powers gosh first off peter makes heroes if u take out him the show mostly will flop gosh and by watching the video i think sylar returns to his evil ways becuase as u watch in the video he confronts his real father rly anybody else have tht feeling tht this season leaves more questions then answers after every episode

you can think what you want, it’s your problem. I love Adam and its too sad he’s gone. Without Adam the show is definately not better, I really miss him. He was smartass and supercool. But we all can think what we want, so please accept the opinions from other people. If you don’t like Adam, don’t say that his death makes the story a better show.

Arthure’s power is just like rouge from x-men he borrows them for a while and then they return to there original owner but in adam’s case he was just to old so when his powers were taking his real age killed him so he aint never coming back>(that should make alot of you happy cause yesterday i was n here and you all complained that they never really kill people> and i have a list of people who ar really dead.and claire’s store aint boring. if i was the puppet guy. i woulda been loving it last night> (off the hook)crazy. they should keep him around
(for an audience who like to watch this show. you dont no alot about it). they make a lot off reference’s to x-men and marvel and d,c comics . so im surprised you have questions when they’ve been answered years ago. just brush up on your comics

if nathan has the same ability as peter syler and daddy. this show has just become lame

All good theory’s here, I like the idea that Peter gets a shot to give him his power back and I agree that DNA doesn’t change so it stands to reason that his original power will return and I agree that if he stands before the old man he would absorb his power back.

Only glitch I see is P Peter couldn’t absorb abilities from future Pete so either it’s just because he can’t absorb from him self or another sponge.

The other problem I see is Arthur knows who has abilities because he even sent them to collect the African precog. Does he have a power like Molly who knows but I would say this proves his retaining is not temporary.

Why keep Peter prisoner? Unless he knows Pete can get his power back or he is trying to convert him so he can give him his powers back.

But all theses theory’s go down the drain if the Haitian has no effect on him…Where the hell is he anyway? He absorbs the Haitian’s power even if Pete can absorb again he wouldn’t be able to get his powers back again.

In the GN F Peter has the Haitians memory erasing power and Syler has all of his original powers he lost from the start of the season…I wonder if Arthur will get Sylered? If this happens Peter could absorb his powers back and then some from Gabriel, then they would both have all the powers they lost and every power the old man stole…Damn vampire why the hell didn’t trust his instincts? Has daddy ever hugged him before.

He finally started using better judgment with his powers too.

That last episode was pretty impressive. I have to admit that. Arthur is pretty much a bad ass now that he has all of Peter’s collected powers. I wonder if Peter still has his original ability? But at least now he doesn’t have the hunger… Arthur does lol.. So will Arthur be hungry like Peter or Sylar or will he not be? Maybe he doesn’t know that Peter had it lol… Anyways though..

Daph. Is gonna be a good guy. Parkman’s gonna change her. Sylar is gonna be the main protagonist for a little bit.. But I believe that Sylar, in the end, is going to become the villain once again. Adam dying was pretty surprising.. I really liked his character.

Looks like in this episode Elle comes back into the picture.. And she’s gonna get into a cat fight with Clare? Hopefully this one is a good episode too..

If that Rogue theory held any water then Maury wouldn’t be scared of him because eventually the power he stole to manipulate Maury’s mind would be gone…What could he touch? he’s bedridden.

Wait! Is that Pete going off the Pinherst building? Maybe your right after all, or Gabriel stops him from hitting the ground with TK.

I just need to vent somewhere. I haven’t read other comments yet so I don’t know if anyone feels the same way. I am REALLY disappointed with the way Heroes is going this season. I’ve been watching since day one and I want to keep watching, but I don’t know. Here are a list of my grievances:

1) Why is it so difficult for our “Heroes” to actually be heroic? I mean EVERYone seems so damn conflicted and angry. I miss Hiro himself being so excited about his gift and wanting to do good in the world. He’s trying but he needs to screw up a little less by now.

2) I’m sick of all the characters being so separated. They are all off having their own little dramas, they don’t communicate with each other. In this modern world, people for groups, communities, alliances, based on less than what these guys have going on. I’m not looking for the Justice League (not yet anyway), but at least they could talk to each other once in a while, maybe help each other out sometimes. Don’t they have cell phones?

3)Where’s the character development? Why kill Nicki then introduce her sister? I don’t get it! I thought Nicki was a great character already had the great internal conflict and something to fight for besides herself…her son!

4)Again, character developement! I don’t like what was done to Suresh, in my mind it doesn’t really follow that he would have been so tempted by power, specialness, to experiment on himself! And whatever happened with his sister?

5) I don’t want to see anymore Future Angry Claire and Future Angry Peter, they are annoying.

6) What’s with the whole “Luke, I am your father” routine with Mrs. Petrelli telling Sylar he’s her son. It’s just a bit much. Sylar was a nice bad guy and well, he’s ruined now.

I dunno, I feel like the writers need to simplify things a bit. I like to have my heroes to cheer for and my bad guys to root against, all this one minute they’re good, they next minute they are bad, kinda takes the fun away :-(. Thank you.

P.S. I do like what they are doing with Arthur Petrelli, I guess I’ll stick around to see what happens there…
