I think that Meridith was playing psychological games with Claire. Meridith talked about ‘waterboarding’ and the mind believing that it is drowning – then Meridith does the dramatic flame thing with her hands and points out that she is using up the oxygen.

Thus, Claire panics and BELIEVES that she is suffocating – but it was all a mind trick by Meredith

I have to agree. Sylar is an awesome villan, but his arch-hero Peter is a bit disappointing.

In season 1 Peter managed to absorb new powers without being consciously aware of them at first or how to use them and sometimes they emerged only as a result of reflex or survival instinct. He usually only seems to acquire a power after he has seen it used. Hypothetically, Peter could have a lot of powers he is not even aware of although but I would expect that with experience he should have a better grasp of his abilities and how they work, even ones he newly acquires.

Considering his past proximity to Micah, Molly and Sylar, Peter should be omniscient as well as omnipotent by now.

He could even go back in time, fly around (or sneak around) invisible and gain powers from people that are no longer living (like the power to heal). Peter could even gain them before the original hero/villain knows how to use their own powers. Following the logic of the series the one power he shouldn’t be able to gain without cutting up the hosts head is the Haitians.

The creators of the series have been very consistent about one thing, for all his powers, the Peter character is still a dope.

what about if sylar managed 2 get peters powers would he need to kill anyone again because when peter had nathans power already he still tried to cut his head open?

Ultimate power? Hmm…

The one power I’d like them to include in the show is atom manipulation. Basically, being able to control atoms. With that power, you could do literally anything you can think of (create, destroy, move, heat, chill, electrocute, etc), since EVERYTHING is made of atoms.

In respect to a clever way to use TK, he’s actually right. He first obtained telekenesis by bashing the poor guy’s head open at the clock shop and proceeded to study his brain. Once he knew how it worked, using force to cut something open was child’s play for Sylar (and less messy).

Just.. the way he held Peter’s face so lovingly, it made me ‘aww’

Hmm! I really want to see this, does it air anytime soon?
Oh and I know one of the ‘ultimate’ powers(comparable to peter/hiro/claire), but I keep it a secret, I dreamt about it and wonder if it might show up in heroes some day
