Sylar has gotten way to strong and they need to get Peter back to full power.

Is it too much to ask that if someone gets offed that it be matt parkman? the guy is annoying and the writers have completely butchered any type of storyline with him. OH NO HES IN LOVE WITH DAPHNE OH NOES DAPHNE DIES AND HES INTERESTED IN HIS EXWIFE AGAIN. jesus even watching him make that face when he uses his powers makes me convinced hes constipated.

You know, for making Mohindir a strong as heck beast, they have really turned him into a giant wuss. lets see him use some of those powers he coveted so much early on now that hes not a freak?

In closing i really do believe that claire needs to develop somehow, the OHNOES I CAN REJUVENATE MYSELF only goes so far. for someone that cant die she whines waaaay too much.

Peter and Nathan are no match for Sylar the fight is going to be one-sided the whole way through until by some dumb luck someone gets a shot in because Sylar is going to drop his guard.

Something tells me the show-down is going to leave many mad and the last two mins. of the show is going leave everyone insane because we are all going to have to wait a long time to get our Heroes fit.

The only way this works is that while Sylar is trying to fry Nathan Peter gets his power back and instantly remembers how to tap into all of them and stop Sylar.

Is it me or did the writers just flip the whole script on us? Sylar is getting all nostalgic and remembering who he was. Returning to what he used to be? A glimpse of the sensitive side of a serial killer before he goes all insane again?

Finally after 3 seasons we get the truth, Sylar absorbs DNA, Peter's DNA used to change as he absorbed an ability and Arthur took the Power by stealing the genetic marker (guessing) Peter now copies and stores genetic markers (guessing).

Seeing how things work isn't that what Sylars power is? Isn't DNA a blue print of a body's structure? Or do you all think DNA absorption is a new power like that disintegration power? He uses DNA coupled with Shifting to steal a new identity without actually touching them? Or his shifting power is possible because he can absorb DNA literally becoming the person he copies?

This would mean after being the person, he knows how their brain works so he can use IA to copy the power. Man I imagine Sylar with 2 drop down lists in his head one for DNA and the other for genetic markers, the guy has more power than anyone on the show and he has become immortal, h.e.l.l. with just a snap of his fingers he can turn anyone to dust so I guess he has officially reached god status well if he ever got Hiros original power and molecule manipulation he could undo man and reconstruct him as he sees fit, tweak any power he needs to, resurrect the dead or make a slurry out anyone's atoms...God status!

Even with every power he ever had Peter wouldn't stand a snowballs chance in h.ell against Sylar unless he had Arthurs power witch I will argue to the death is nothing more than an evolved form of the power he has now. Rant over.

I agree with most of your points. Every time they take the show in a more interesting direction they just completely change it all. Peter has no chance against Sylar, wouldn't surprise me if he killed Peter and Nathan. Sylar goes from caring about Luke and Micha, and other things besides just ability collection, to just killing whoever he sees fit, flip-flop much on the story line Tim?

Now Hiro gets nose bleeds and almost dies when he stops time, just go the full length and take his ability out completly and make the show called "Normals". Seriously the thing with Hiro is so old, how many more times can he lose his powers or be nerfed?

Wrong. DNA absorption is a part of Shape shifting. That's how he can shape shift in the first place. He needs DNA to do it and every single person he can transform into was a direct result of absorbing their DNA through touch; his mother's DNA from her clothing, Nathan's DNA from a brush, Danko's DNA from a handshake. Simple but effective.

Most likely Peter does store replicated abilities.
Oh, and Sylar originally had two abilities: Intuitive Aptitude and Empathic Mimicry.

dude why do you and some other people keep saying that sylar was born with two abilities: IA and empathic mimicry? it has been stated over and over by the writers and sylar himself that states that the only power that originally his own was IA. as for the mimicry ability that he has shown has more to do with understanding people and how they activate and use their abilities. i think arthur referred to as sylar tapping into his empathy, but to me it makes more sense that needs to understand how someone acts, carries themselves, and what manner they use their power in and then he is able to duplicate their ability. as for peter originally ability it was a constant process that allowed him to soaked up any ability he comes in close proximately to. unlike sylar he does need to understand how someone behaves or acts to be granted access to their ability. the element of peter ability that allows him to readily access his mimicked powers is the emotions that he associates with that particular person. this is where the empathy aspect comes into play. if you remember when claude was training him to use his abilities it is then that peter states that he has to remember how each person made him feel to recall their stored ability where as cluade was trying to rid him of thinking about them. ironically, and i just noticed this now as i write this is that what is happen to peter this season is very similar to his training with Claude. currently peter can only store one ability and has to touch someone to actually mimic their ability. this is due to his feeling of bedrail so he has "removed" his empathic aspect of his ability. thus not allowing him to fully connect with the evolved humans who's ability he mimics. this is similar to how claude was training peter to recall his abilities, but he was unable to do so because claude was trying to get him to forget how he felt about others. yet he is thrown off the roof and lands on the roof of a taxi he is then able to remember claire and his feelings for her and that is when he comes back to life. we are starting to see peter reconcile now with his mother and brother so i believe we will begin to see peter's ability evolve. now i doubt he will ever get his exact ability again. most likely he will remain with the power mimicry ability through touch since the version of the ability that he has in synthetic, but he should begin to be able to hold multiple power as he was before. by doing this they are successful in a) making peter not as strong. he will now be force to touch someone to get their ability...wont be as easy as he use to have. b) Appeasing the fans who are screaming form peter to regain his power.

the DNA thing i dont think is true like the way you put it because he said "it seems i absorb DNA" which means he took the persons DNA to change into them his power is intuitive aptitude if you didnt know that then just wow like when he said to danko about being able to fix his watch danko said "whos power did you steal for that" and sylar said "no ones this has always been mine the abliity to understand things. like when he was looking at claires brain and he said "found it" (or something) its because his power lets him see the persons part of the brain that has the power and take it.

this preview just gave the contents of the last episode. they handed it out. milo said in an interview "expect the unexpected" look it's rather simple. well this is rather simple. nathen does die. the first tip is that nathen and peter exchange i love oyu out of no where.. so that seems odd, then you see angela cry.. i can't see anything making the cold women cry other then knowing one of her sons just died.
also we get to see sylar saying that claire would be mad at him. the only other possibilty is that peter dies... but we know he's going to be on next season.

But... he's been playing everyone for the whole of this volume 4! He has all his powers but he doesn't trust anyone anymore, so he doesn't want anyone knowing. He's been manipulated by everyone he loves and every time he does something, from his own idea or someone elses, it backfires i.e. the butterfly effect.

Notice - he never goes into anything scarred of consequencies anymore. Like when matt went with him to building 26, Peter took Matt's power which meant they couldn't fly outta there - Peter wasn't the slightest bit concerned about that - why? Coz when he needs to he will use his other abilities but hopefully not in view of people.

Soooooo... Peter dies, but, then uses Claires ability to re-gen and is back for seaosn 4!

No, If Peter had his powers he would have used them. If he dies he is dead for good this time.

i wonder... who has a stronger power sylar's tk or matt's brain power :D
