Heroes Preview: Season 3 Episode 2 (3.02) The Butterfly Effect

The second episode of Heroes Season 3, “The Butterfly Effect”, will comprise the second hour of the show’s Season 3 premiere, which debuts on September 22 as a 2-hour episode (with an additional hour before that dedicated to catch the viewers up on the show via the previous two seasons). Episode 2 might feature the show’s most superpowered battles since the show’s inception. Or at least, that’s the promise according to the official description, which has Sylar confronting the Company, and the infamous occupants of the Company’s Level 5 making their first (and from all accounts, very bloody) appearance in the Heroes-verse.

In the shocking second chapter of “Volume 3: Villains,” Angela (Cristine Rose) clashes with her much-changed son, Peter (Milo Ventimiglia), over how best to avert a seemingly inevitable worldwide catastrophe. First, Sylar (Zachary Quinto) declares war on the Company by attacking their main facility, and finds even more than he bargained for on Level 5. During a devastating battle with Elle (guest star Kristen Bell), a dozen savage criminals — all with terrible abilities — escape. Meanwhile, Claire (Hayden Panettiere) discovers something new and unexpected about her abilities. After a fateful night, Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy) is thrilled to find his research, his life and his relationship with Maya (Dania Ramirez) evolving in leaps and bounds. Stuck in unfamiliar territory, Matt (Greg Grunberg) finds a guide (guest star Ntare Mwine) to help him.

Intriguing, where did Peter take Claire (from the trailers they seem to arrive by falling from the sky, unless they are attacked once there and are thrown)? I’ve been wondering which gal he’d taken with him, I suspected it was her.

As for Sylar. Now he’s attacking the company and later he’s working for the company (or for Angela in that matter)? Talk about being inconsistent. Or maybe he’s just want to be where he can slice heads open and gain more power.

The other day I went to Walmart and bought my 6 year old son A Sylar Action figure, the strange thing is we were watching TV and the channels started surfing with out pressing any buttons…Here is where it gets really strange his Sylar started ticking…Should i be alarmed?…Dun Dun Duuun!
