Heroes Preview: Season 3 Episode 17 (3.17) Cold Wars

Looks like ol HRG is in for a bad ol time with the boys in Episode 17, “Cold Wars”. Or at least, that’s the prediction we’re making after this week’s “Building 26″, the final seconds of which found HRG being hauled off by Matt Parkman, Peter Petrelli, and Mohinder Suresh. But just how far will the boys go to find out the truth? And why did the mysterious, as-yet-unseen Rebel just send Ando and Hiro back to L.A. to “save” Matt Parkman? And will we ever find out the fate of Daphne? Plus, just what exactly is The Hunter’s final game plan? He sure looks like a man with his own agendas. Here is your full preview for Heroes Season 3 Episode 17, titled, “Cold Wars”.

Official Description:

HEAD GAMES ENSUE AS MATT EXTRACTS THE TRUTH FROM HRG

While being held hostage, HRG (Jack Coleman) is subjected to Matt Parkman’s (Greg Grunberg) unique brand of interrogation, revealing how he became involved with Nathan’s (Adrian Pasdar) government plot to capture those with abilities. Meanwhile, Matt’s discoveries bring Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) face-to-face with “The Hunter” (guest star Zeljko Ivanek).

Ashley Crow also guest stars.

        everyone that comes here has the right to there oponion since they are fans of the show. otherwise they wouldn’t be on this site if they weren’t. we all have characters we like and dislike, so there is nothing wrong with them expressing those things on a site for fans of the show. claire is one of my least favorite characters, but i don’t want her to die. GREAT SHOW GO HEROES!!!

    I’d love to see a really in depth interrogation! Matt’s telepathy has evolved quite a lot and I reckon he could get HRG to spill spill spill….and there’s nothing HRG can do to stop it!!!

    Peter vs The Hunter – Hmmmm….it depends on what ability Peter has at the time…

    Sylar does have a sense of humour after all…This Luke kid’s annoying the hell out of him, and still he saves him (I love that “Psycho Killer” song @ the end of their scene!)…will eventually take his power by empathy maybe? And how does Luke explain knowing Sylar’s father as well as he does?

    Hiro really needed to learn the lesson that he did, he was being such a baby!!

    Claire going rogue? Saw that coming…

    Save Matt Parkman? Well…Matt’s obviously gonna find out Daphne’s not dead, and will go on a “risk all” mission to retrieve her…Obvious…But what can Hiro and Ando do to help? That’s what I’m wanting to see.

    Let’s wait and see what happens next week.

      I hope they remember HRG knows Japanese–I’m pretty sure he used that to confuse a mind reader before–Perhaps even Parkman–I hope that the interrogation turns into something of a duel/mindgame (for lack of another way of putting it). If anyone can find ways to outwit a mind-reader it would be HRG.

      And yes, I do think Matt is more skilled at mind reading and generally smarter than most people give him credit for (yes, I do understand that even the “smartest” characters on the show have a habit of doing unsmart things…*ahem* Dr Suresh! *cough* *cough!*), but I don’t think Parkman is as dumb as people commonly interpret him as being…however, with that being said, I still don’t think he can take on HRG and get EVERYTHING we want to know about him, but I do hope he gets a lot of juicy info out of him. In fact, I think it would be pretty cool if HRG actually gives Matt some false info. Again, if anyone could find a way to cheat on a lie detector, it would be this guy–in fact, wouldn’t it be awesome if he were (to a limited extent)able to bypass even Sylar’s lie detector ability?? Just a thought.

      Man, I’m getting myself psyched for this episode just thinking about the possibilites!

      I know I’m likely setting myself up for failure with that, but I’m pretty sure HRG is the sort of guy who’ll end up answering the questions Pete and the gang hope to find, but at the expense of raising a whole new slew of things they wouldn’t have ever imagined.

    Man that episode was awesome, i can hardly wait for next week. Though i feel that there is some kind of trick going on, is Noah a good guy or a bad guy, we have yet to find out. I’m beginning to think that this is going to spark controversy between peter and claire considering the fact that he is her father. we’ll see what happens, but that’s the biggest hint i can actually get out of it. Oh i was thinking, remember when he explains that sylars father loved birds, i couldn’t stop but think that it was that invisible guy from season one lol. I can’t remember his name though.     building 26 was a great episode and for once the dialogue was great, even claire wasn’t going over the top. Also the trailer for the next episode looks so cool can’t wait, you know anything HRG centred is going to be amazing

    i cant wait to see the head games HRG will play with parkman, he may not have an ability but he can definitely outsmart parkman.

    few thoughts since the start of this chapter.

    to be honest tho, we need more sylar screen-time. still the best character on the show.

    this chapter is looking to be even more violent and war-like than the last one. heroes is damn good again, liking this direction.

    verdict on new characters…

    im calling this right now MICAH. hes capable of sending faxes, texts, etc. with his power, hes smart, can ‘hack’ into nathan’s operation to stay one step ahead of him, and since he was MIA the first half of the season, he is due some screen time eventually. only other character weve met who could do the same kinda stuff would be hanna…but she died in the online comics bringing down a satellite.
