Heroes Preview: Season 3 Episode 17 (3.17) Cold Wars

Looks like ol HRG is in for a bad ol time with the boys in Episode 17, “Cold Wars”. Or at least, that’s the prediction we’re making after this week’s “Building 26″, the final seconds of which found HRG being hauled off by Matt Parkman, Peter Petrelli, and Mohinder Suresh. But just how far will the boys go to find out the truth? And why did the mysterious, as-yet-unseen Rebel just send Ando and Hiro back to L.A. to “save” Matt Parkman? And will we ever find out the fate of Daphne? Plus, just what exactly is The Hunter’s final game plan? He sure looks like a man with his own agendas. HEAD GAMES ENSUE AS MATT EXTRACTS THE TRUTH FROM HRG

While being held hostage, HRG (Jack Coleman) is subjected to Matt Parkman’s (Greg Grunberg) unique brand of interrogation, revealing how he became involved with Nathan’s (Adrian Pasdar) government plot to capture those with abilities. Meanwhile, Matt’s discoveries bring Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) face-to-face with “The Hunter” (guest star Zeljko Ivanek).

Nathan is full of crap. He says he'll capture all people with powers first abd THEN start thinking about how he's gonna eliminate their powers. Why don't they make the drug(?) first or at least start working on it?

And what's with the explosion painted in the floor? Is that the same old Isaac painted or is there a new threat Matt saw?

TO - THE PROPHECY just thought if you didnt know there are these graphic novels on nbc.com that you might wanna check out it kinda kills your theory and many others most of the time but they are pretty cool to read between waiting for the next show.

Oh and they already said that Sylars dad is going to be the same guy that plays Lex Luther's dad in Smallville.

For Luke to be Sylar's dad then he is either getting younger as time goes by, OR he travels time at some point (why not- half of them have done it already) and ends up becoming Sylar’s dad in the past. That would explain why Sylar’s dad kept fairly close to his younger self and confided in him and why he knew to hit the road out of the neighbourhood before the whole government crackdown was about to start. Far fetched I know- but just an idea.
Another option is that his dad will have something to do with him having a taxidermy business. He also had a snow globe in his house. This could be significant because the company was saying at some point that they helped to stop a tsunami in Florida at some point I think, and instead it was just a mild snow storm. Perhaps this was with the help of Sylar's dad. So, Weather control or animal manipulation become possibilities for his power(s). It could even be that he is able to just touch anything and they die instantly, or freeze stiff as they were, which could be a neat trick for a taxidermist.

It explains a lot of things. It would still be cool if some big hollywood actor got to play Sylar's dad too

i reckon "rebel" is "the hunter" trying to win claires trust,, and then when he has her wrapped round his little finger maybe he will betray her and something bad might happen(some heroes die).

it wud be interesting 2 see who saved sylar afta he was burnt in primatech! because i kno he can regnerate wen the piece of glass i pulled outta his head! but as far as im aware they havnt showed wot happened 2 him? or hav i missed sumthing?
seems abit silly 2 miss this out?

I like the idea that Luke is Sylar's future son. That would be a twist, and I also like the idea of Sylar going good and Peter going evil. Would be interesting and a major plot twist! But I like them how they are so...I guess I'm a little torn about that theory. So anyway, can't wait for the Matt v. Noah showdown tonite! I hope we learn a little, not all about Noah but just enough to keep us guessing! 11 hrs and counting...

what if the Rebel was already a small group of people incluing characters that we have met and a few new 1's?
also peter will get his full ability back in the next few episodes

He just got injected a few episodes ago, and he does not yet know how to hold on to more than one ability, give him time.

Great theory about Peter's powers! I actually would like for Charles to make a comeback, as I want to know more about how he fits into the heroes' past.

As for the rebel, I have theory as to who it might be. Given that the rebel informed Claire where to find Alex and then she told her to go to Los Angeles to save Matt, what if the rebel is Molly? It seems that with the government hunting people with abilities, she's the X-Factor. Unchecked, she is the single "hero" who can thwart the whole operation by alerting heroes before the government gets to them. If it is her, then she's seriously underground because the government probably wants to use her as a tracking device. Also, on a little side note, assuming Molly's a teenager now (or close to it), it would make sense that she keeps texting Claire (because text-messaging is the preferred method of communication for that age group).

Just a thought, let me know what you think...

Stick this one in your printer and print it. What If Micah and Molly are working together? That's how they know where to find the Heroes, and that's how they contact Claire. Just an idea, could very well be wrong.
