i think, it’s because peter inject himself, at the episode 13 i think, and he get the ability to absorb power by touching the power user.
the thing that not makes any sense is, why peter so afraid fall out from the plane if he can fly, he touch nathan, and of course because of that he can fly. he told nathan about his ability too, flying.

Oh I see. Thanks for the answer. I thought peter had copy niki sanders\’ super strength ability but he said that he had lost all his strength?? What happen? Did peter lost all his ability when his father taken it away from him and he only get the ability of empathy back while he injects himself with the formula?

if you mean with what he did on the plane to mohinder then no, thats his own ability, empathy. He touched him and copied his powers just like he did with Tracy moments after. When Peter obsorbed Matt’s ability to read minds in the entarigation room, matt went into peter’s head and he then copied it. You can say he (matt) touched his (peter) brain, hehe. Sylar can do that too, but he chooses to open up their heads to see how it works instead of trying to find out how it works without killing them. Syler’s powers are a little different but they can work in the same way as peter’s, if only he wants to, you saw that with whats her name? Elle Bishop, he obsorbed her powers without killing her.

i really dont get it, y peter has lost his all his abilities (the abilities that he got from others)?

and now he got his father ability (absorb others ability)?

well, Arthur is dead too, we all saw him die, yet, he’ll pop up anyway.

but if he’s dead then they must have changed the script for 3-14 and 15 because it says he’s gonna be in it, maybe a flash back?
